Great location. Great room and clean. Checkin was slow as there was an issue with the system updating when a room was cleaned. Receptionist was very good and did her best to resolve. Maid also came into the room once we had go in with no knock. Also felt rushed out the room at 9am as again the maid knocked the door asking if we were checking out. Spoke to reception upon checkout and they were very apologetic.
The location of this hotel is simply excellent. It is between Piccadilly Circus tube station and Leicester Square tube station. Shopping and dining options are all within walking distance.
The hotel room is comfortable and staff are courteous. The bathroom is clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel waited for me to arrive before informing that the room wasnt available then sent me by taxi an hour across London to a sister hotel, no upgrade, no compensation, no acknowledgement...very poor customer service

Bathroom had a terrible sewage smell throughout our stay. We discussed this with the front staff and a technician reportedly attempted to fix the issue but the smell persisted. Otherwise, we were pleased with our stay.
I was impressed by the standard of the bed linen, towels and can do attitude of the staff- right from the chef to the house keeper. The breakfast was so fresh and appealing- good selection of hot and cold food and little touches like fresh parsley on the scrambled eggs was much appreciated

It was a fine hotel. A little tired. The room was a comfortable box.
Bathroom tubs are way too high and risky for seniors. No bars to hang on to stepping into or o it of tub/shower. Hotel didn’t have step stool or able to assist with this matter. We were afraid everyday stepping into and out of shower/tub.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel to the amazing staff that too such good care of us. They took our luggage and locked it up securely and was brought up to our room when it was ready. The room was very nice and had everything we needed and was super clean. I told them we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and there was a bottle of champagne ready for us. Overall the hotel was in an amazing area and super close to everything.

Very dark room but otherwise a nice option
The room is comfortable and clean. My big complaint is it’s so dark! The lighting is really inadequate to do simple tasks after sundown. They need a dimmer system or more lamps- it’s really not good.
Location location location - soundproofed to the outside. Efficient. Basic facilities within because everything you want is right outside the door.
Very comfortable bed/ good linen.

Buildings are in bad condition and they are having maintenance issues that keep several floors/rooms closed. Poorly handled transfer from one location to another to accommodate us despite our reservation and having stayed at the hotel previously. A deluxe reservation was reduced to a small uncomfortable room with little done by the staff to help reconcile the situation.
Location is exellent especially if you like being in the middle of everything. Tube stations are close by to get you anywhere in the city quickly and effortlessly. Jr suite is nice. Small by American standards but large by London center city standards. What makes this hotel stand out is the incredibly service oriented staff. They are not only friendly and helpful but they go above and beyond by coming out from behind the desk to help you as needed. All members of the staff are a cut above other hotels. They are genuinely interested in helping whereever and whenever they can.
