Best features are the location and service of the staff. I was checked in efficiently had everything explained to me and was escorted to the room and show the facilities. The location is very central within walking distance to everything I wanted. The room itself was spacious and comfortable

Location is excellent it is a small london hotel the rooms are very good look like they are recently refurbished The staff were very friendly helpful and efficient There are no resident bar facilities but not a problem you are right in the middle of london Would use again

Property is not luxury and very loud. We realize it’s on a busy street and had we known we’d not have picked it. We also thought there was a bar but when we asked the front desk person said it was closed, this was at 6-7pm. Our room was so small that when our luggage was taken to our room, the door wouldn’t open fully. We would not recommend this property even though it’s right in the middle of the theatre district. It’s worth staying farther out and walking a bit longer. Our room was so small there was no closet.

Lovely hotel

The room was lovely, compact but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive Nothing was any trouble, we had a late checkout at 12 with no extra cost, complimentary Prosecco and cheesecake for my husband’s birthday, very unexpected and appreciated

the reception ladies were helpful and also the man at the door. the hotel is quite close to soho Piccadilly circus very central only issue is the room is close to the road and it is kondon so noisy :)

We had a great stay at the Montcalm and it was the perfect location for us to go to the theatre. In particular, Kayla on reception was really welcoming and friendly, and she made the check-in process fantastic. She is an asset to the hotel

Great welcome, room was ready before check in time which was great. Hotel is very central to everything, china town, harry potter house and picadilly circus. Overall enjoyed the stay very much. And highly recommend!

They want too much info on arrival . We were not pre advised that there was no restaurant or bar functioning at property but still charged full price even with lack of facilities

The hotel was promising as it mentioned it had a kitchen and a spa which made the hotel a 4 star hotel, however once i checked in none of these services were available. Waste of money.

Not a 5 ⭐️ experience.

Check in was extremely slow (no key cards available). Room was tiny, shower screen door did not shut properly. Continental breakfast choice was plain or fruit yoghurt and/or Croissant or Pan au Chocolat. That’s it!

The hotel is very small. The pictures make the lobby look much bigger. The rooms are like tiny bedrooms in the USA. Everything is much more dated than it looks online but it’s still clean. The staff are okay. They aren’t friendly but they aren’t rude. There is no breakfast right now as it is under renovation. The elevator is very small and very very slow. The neighborhood is a party district and it’s extremely loud all night long. There are tons of bars, clubs and restaurants nearby. If you’re coming to London to drink and club this is probably a decent place to stay. For us it was far too noisy and cramped and I wouldn’t stay there again.

Wouldn’t return

shockingly noisy until around 4-5 am the rooms are really bright so you literally can’t sleep beds arnt the comfiest and the bed sheets irritated my skin constantly all night will never be returning to say the least.
