Hotel didn't take action to right a bad situation

The hotel and area were very nice, the room was a great size, very comfortable and nicely designed. However, in our 4 night stay there were 3 days where the water was shut off intermittently due to some mechanical issue (no shower or sink water). They notified us and assured that it would be fixed soon which eventually it was, but on and off during these days. I can understand that such things happen and can be unpredictable, but for the amount we paid and for this quality of hotel, my expectations is that some compensation be offered for such an inconvenience, and not a word of that was spoken from the multiple employees we talked to. When we brought this up ourselves at checkout, the front desk assured us a manager would contact us about compensation. Over a week has passed and we have yet to hear from anyone.

The hoxton is a wonderful hotel and great staff, the storage in the cozy room could have a few more drawers but otherwise excellent.

The Hoxton Holborn is a great hotel. It's in a perfect location for the British Museum, Covent Garden, numerous theaters and countless restaurants. A Piccadilly Line stop is one block away so getting to/from Heathrow is easy. The rooms are small but comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We arrived late at the hotel and I can only assume we got the worst room in the hotel. Toilet wouldn’t stop flushing, air con was noisy even when off. Bed offered no support and no sockets around the bed. Offered a free breakfast but was then charged for it.

This was absolutely horrible to stay with a significant other. The rooms are extremely small. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything happening in the rooms and hallways next to your room. There’s also some sort of noise at night that keeps you up.

Great hotel, perfect for stepping out into Covent Garden. Only one negative, the bed was a little uncomfortable, felt like it needed a new mattress. But other than that, really good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great Atmosphere in the lobby and bar. Very clean. Would stay here again.
