We were a family of two adults and two children in a family room with a double bed and bunks.
The location of the hotel was wonderful, the tube station was only a block away and there were many restaurants and things to do within a mile radius, however, there were a few complaints.
1. The fan, during our stay, it was the hottest week in London so far. Yet, the room itself was hotter than outside. It was constantly quite stuffy and at an uncomfortable heat. Unfortunately, the only thing you could do about it was a small fan. A more powerful fan for a family room would have been more effective.
2. Lower bunk springs. There’s not much to say, really. The lower bunk felt like you were sleeping purely on springs; and it wasn’t a favorable place to sleep.
Regardless of this, the staff was lovely and so was our stay, I’d recommend it.
3 1/2 stars feels like a fair rating.
