Executive king room was lovely, very clean, spacious and had everything you wanted. Breakfast was not included in our stay- something to watch out for. The bar was very expensive £25 for a glass of Prosecco and 2 small bottles of lager ( draught was off). Good location next to bars and restaurants in Liverpool Street.

Stunning, amazing staff

I live and work in London so rarely stay in hotels in London. I arrived and was greeted by the friendliest staff. I mentioned we were staying for my boyfriends birthday and immediately they arranged a cake to the room and a hand written hard which was signed by all the staff. The room was clean, nice size especially as it is an inner city hotel. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Weekend in London

First time to stay in the South Place Hotel and will definitely return. Excellent location , close to Liverpool Street Station for ease of access but in a quieter area where you can sit outside (weather permitting) and watch the world go by. Staff are excellent , extremely customer orientated and welcoming from first entering the hotel to leaving. Ate in the restaurant one evening and was probably the best meal we had over the weekend. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. They have really thought of everything even a jogging circuit map and a hangover kit if required! Couldn't fault our stay in this hotel.

Great birthday stay

It was a very good stay and good value for a 5 stars hotel in hotel. Definitely will stay again. Emailed hotel told it was for my partner's birthday and they have left us some treats in the room when we check in and there is a card signed by the staff. Pros -friendly and helpful staff -spacious room for london standard -very good amenity in the room -massive bath tab -electric black out blind -very good restaurants and room service Cons (I'm being very picky...) -no turndown service -a little bit noisy for rooms facing the main road, should be ok once the building is finish opposite

Modern and stylish Hotel. Close to the Moorgate as well as the Liverpool Street Station. Early check-in was very good! Unfortunately, our room was quite old. Roomdoor and also the bathroomdoor were difficult to open and close. Only hot water in the shower and the best of all, no turning off of the running bathtub water. After calling the reception, Thomas turned off our water completely and left us, without saying a word. Although our door was open the whole time. We had to call the reception again at 11.00 pm. to get the information, that we have to move the room. Thomas at the reception, didn't even bother to look at us. Don't know, what we did wrong. Sad, because the stay was very pleasand until this incident.
