Our stay at the Shoreditch Inn, was rather mixed. We had booked a deluxe double room that was supposed to be more spacious. Obviously we paid extra for the upgraded room but when we went up to it we good barely move around the room. There was a chair wedged under a unit at the bottom of the bed that I had to move to get around. You couldn’t walk past the bed if the cupboard door was open. The photographs on the website for the deluxe room were complete fabrication. Having said this, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I was just not happy paying for an upgrade that clearly wasn’t one. I spoke to the lady on departure about it and she insisted room 207 was deluxe, it wasn’t. Absolutely nothing like the rooms shown on the website. The staff were very nice, the room was clean, but my advise is just don’t waste your money on an upgraded room.

Great place close to City
I stayed for just a night before going to a meeting near Bank. The room was clean and comfortable and perfect for my needs. I was able to walk in to the City next morning. The reception staff and breakfast staff were pleasant and helpful. The area around the hotel has lots of good restaurant and pub options. I would definitely recommend.

The hotel is OK. The "superior" room was OK but nothing was superior about it. Breakfast is rationed and even the cooked breakfast largely vegetarian and spartan.

Not for me
The room smelt of curry, wasn't very clean, didn't have a toilet roll holder and the toilet seat didn't fit. 2 days before i was told the lift didn't work and when I asked if they could print out the invoice, they said the print wasn't working. To top it all off the curtains are too small for the windows so daylight comes through. Would not stay again.

The room is quite spacious though the beds are a little uncomfortable. They have a few amenities which is nice and a very good breakfast that is included. It is near the tube and bus stations and has a tone of restaurant and shopping options around. Would definitely stay again
