Very happy with our stay! Helpful and friendly staff. Property was tidy and clean. Only issue was there was a slight odd smell in the bathroom which we think was an issue with the drains and the shower was tiny. Otherwise great hotel! Would definitely stay there again!

This hotel provides great value for the money in a very nice location. Very close to Paddington station, Hyde Park, restaurants and many shops. I also forgot a phone in my room, and they held it for me until I got back to London, thank you!

Right next to Hyde Park, very convenient and affordable. The bus station is a 1 min walk and train station is 3-4 min walk. Close to Sherlock Homes and Wax Musuem. The staff were super nice. They provided us a power adapter (UK has different kinds of outlets!) Should try Korean Restaurant nearby!! Overall a very great experience and we throughly enjoyed our stay for the price! Would recommend for tourists flying into London and looking for somewhere convenient to stay.

The room was very small, there was no breakfast although it was listed,, and there was no mention of charge for the parking which cost us a further £60,had I known this I would have gone elsewhere as hotel is not worth the price

All staff without exception were very friendly and helpful. Had to take breakfast at a neighbouring hotel and the breakfast provided was very average. Hotel's location is good i.e. close to underground and a selection of shops and restaurants. Only negative was my room size and not enough desk space for my laptop. Room was very clean and well maintained.

Although my private bathroom was through a separate door it was very clean. I think the shower head would benefit from a spray and scrub so that the Jets are free of limescale. The water goes everywhere. But, apart from that I would definitely stay again.thank you.

The Good: Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable bed, great shower, very close to Paddington, so getting there from Heathrow on the Elizabeth Line is super easy and quick. The Not So Good: No safe room to hold luggage, just a space under the stairs with a 'leave at your own risk' sign. I got in way before 2pm check in time, and didn't feel safe leaving my case, so had to drag it around London with me for 4 hours. Room 3 had no window, like a little cell, and was really hot. The AC didn't work the first night so sleep wasn't great, but Danny(?) on reception was very friendly and helped fix it ASAP in the morning. Take earplugs, the building is quite creaky and you can easily hear other guests stomping about. All in all, not bad. Just be aware you're paying for location, not amenities. I'd stay again if I got a good deal on a rate.

Room was in basement. We reserved a triple room with 3 twin beds. There was about 9 inches between the beds and the wall. Between the last two beds there is a tiny TV on the wall that sticks off the wall about 6 inches making it very difficult to even get to the third bed in the room. The air conditioning in the room was not working, but the air conditioner was dripping water all over the floor making a puddle which was a hazard when trying to squeeze past the beds to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The air conditioning being broken made the room terribly hot and difficult to sleep. The hallway was about 20 degrees cooler, but the window to the hallway was sealed shut. The beds were all on wheels on a laminate floor, so they would move easily when you leaned on them. The bathroom shower was small and did not drain. So the shower overflowed onto the bathroom floor while showering. We were given one small towel each and no hand towels or wash cloths. It was a pretty miserable night after a long day of travel. However, the location was easily accessible from Paddington Station and the Elizabeth line or Heathrow Express from the airport.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve been in.Everything has gone the way I want it to be. The staff are so respectful and treated me well. The beds are comfy and it’s so cheap way worth the money.

Royal Cambridge Hotel

When we arrived we were greeted by Denny, very polite young man. The room was very clean and ample for 4 people. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We are all tea drinkers so whenever we went and asked for extra tea bags or milk we were given big handfuls which was excellent. Checkout was very easy and quick. There was someone at the front desk 24/7 which was a big plus. We would definitely use the Royal Cambridge Hotel again whenever we go to London.

Very nice staff who kindly allowed early check-in. The mattress was terrible and made our bodies hurt in the morning. Thank goodness for the great shower pressure and hot water to relieve the sore muscles. I wasn’t expecting the best mattress ever, but something slightly better would make a difference. It would be better to have wash cloths available for washing in the shower.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The only issue we experienced was with the wifi. It could only be reached when we were by the door. We were on the second floor. This was mentioned to the front desk and said they would look into an extender.
