Excellent hotel, perfect for theatre (Wicked)

Highly recommend staying at the Park Plaza Victoria. We chose this hotel due to the proximity to the Apollo Victoria Theatre (Wicked) and it was perfect - only a 3 minute walk from the hotel to the theatre. The entrance to the hotel was lovely and open, clean and well lit. The staff were friendly and smiley, checked us in quickly and on check out they have a concierge area for you to leave your bags which is ideal if you're seeing a matinee performance and check out beforehand. Again, friendly and efficient. We stayed in a superior king room which was a great size, comfortable bed and pillows, we didn't hear any noise from the hotel and minimal noise from outside. The bathroom was compact but very clean and adequate with nice complimentary soaps. The rainfall shower was lovely. Our room had a balcony but the door was locked so we couldn't use it however, the weather wasn't the sort to be out on the balcony so not an issue for us on this visit. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're seeing a show at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.

This was our second trip to London and our second stay at this property. We chose it because it’s very close to the things we wanted to visit while in town. And it is very close to the Victoria train station which made it convenient for us to get to our train For the next leg of our journey. There is a very nice restaurant on property that serves dinner and breakfast. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. As was the dinner menu. There’s also a bar in the lobby that was very relaxing and convenient. The staff was so helpful at providing us with information and directions as we needed them. We felt very welcomed.

Very convenient location, close to Victoria station and a lot of restaurants and supermarkets. The room is clean and the room service is excellent. There are two small issues though: 1. Both my wife and I found the WiFi is intermittent, sometimes it is fast, sometimes it slow and even not working. 2. The shower pressure could be higher.

A very nice hotel with a great location. It's right across the street from Victoria Train station, which provides express service to Gatwick Airport. This area of London has an abundance of dining and shopping options. A fancy hotel at an affordable price. Served a tasty, fresh breakfast to start the day. Online check-in the night before, seamless process. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend it!

Family friendly and convenient

We stayed here during our layover in London. It was centrally located and we were able to walk and take in the sights. It is close to shopping, restaurants, the Buckingham Palace, St James Park and Westminster Abbey. Our room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was also very helpful and courteous.

Perfect location for all the sites. easy transportation options for it a 2 min walk to Victoria station. Many different restaurants in the area. Will stay there again.

I wouldn’t stay again.

Overall, nice property, clean rooms of good size, and very comfortable beds. We were on the 9th floor, and apparently they must have water pressure issues. Two days I had to either bathe or finish bathing with a water bottle filling and refilling from the sink. We called to inform front desk, and they said they’d look into it and call back, which they did not. By the 3rd day we learned by ourselves that we could get water from the shower if you shower before 6:40am. So having no water for a shower felt worse than third world. Breakfast is okay. A lot of options, but things can get cold, and the scene can be a bit chaotic waiting for a table or just getting food from the buffet. So be sure to arrive before 7:30 to the buffet.

Early check in

We arrived at the hotel early and were told our room was ready but if we wanted to access it early it would have to pay extra for early check in. I haven’t experienced having to pay for this before if your room is actually ready. To be fair the room is expensive enough already without changing to access it when it is ready. Otherwise the concierge was very helpful storing bags. Very convenient location to Victoria Station and plenty of restaurants around.

We had a good stay. It was near the Tube and convenient. Breakfast was good though it’s the same selection everyday even if there was a variety to choose from. Bottled waters for the room aren’t free. Customer service was good. We were happy that the bar and common area were open till late at night and it was quiet enough so we could talk. Either way, the place is highly recommended and the hotel is aesthetically luxurious and there was enough space to move around as well.
