We were not in the building as it appears in the picture, but rather across the street. This was okay, but our room was in the front and every time someone came in the front door it would slam and then the walls in our room would shake. This made sleep very difficult. Also the airconditioning in our room blew out from the ceiling directly over the person on that side of the bed and it clicked all night. It was nice that they cleaned every day. The front desk staff if we went across the street to ask a question was pleasant. Not sure what they can do about the door, maybe make it close slowly so it doesn't slam. We were there for 2 weeks and this made sleep difficult. We liked the location and its quaintness fromm the outside.

The hotel rooms are to small and not enough space for one person. The staff didnot help me with my luggage and the hotel is a maze to get to the rooms. The property needs major renovations.

We booked a club double room, which was perfect for ourselves. It was of a adequate size and a great ensuite shower. Our room wasn't in the main hotel, but in, part of the hotel opposite. (Just over the road) but with the same standard. The room was clean, quiet and it had everything in it we needed and more, even a Microwave! The staff were lovely and very helpful. We were able to leave our luggage on the last day, so we could explore further. The hotel is perfectly situated approx 7 mins walk from Paddington station, and with a few small restaurants and convenience stores around if needed.

Room smelled damp, shower drained extremely slowly, wi-fi almost nonexistent, could not increase room temperature, door doesn't fall shut by itself (although it has an alarm to notify that door has been left ajar). Booked a double Sir? Have a single instead!
Checked in at 10pm, long travel. Only to be told my room type wasn’t available and I’d need to take a twin room and sleep on a single bed instead of a double. Told me if I’d turned up earlier they could have got me a double room?! I booked two days prior… Settled down, couldn’t turn tv on as no remote. Called reception and they said they’d bring one down. They never bothered. Wifi non existent on the lower ground floor so My plan of working in the room in the morning was scuppered. I’ve stayed at another Park hotel and they did the same thing, that’s me done with them now.

The hotel itself is small and a bit dated as far as look and feel. Rooms are listed as double beds but felt smaller than any of the other double beds we’ve had. The area is great. Close to Paddington stations for travel around London. Several small restaurants, bakeries, and grocery markets made the area great for food and other needed things. Over all not bad for the price. If I went again I would probably look for another spot in the same area. If you are solo traveling or ok with smaller bed it’s great
