A Sorry Stay

The bed linens were really poor-like the ones you’d find in a motel 6. The sheets weren’t even large enough for the double bed-they kept sliding off. No facial tissues offered or available. I asked and they said no and offered me a napkin. You have to use toilet paper for that. The heat is turned off between 10 and 4 pm every day, so if you’re in your room during the cold months you are cold! The breakfast was good. Servers were great.

Great Place to Stay

This is the second time I have stayed at the Mitre House Hotel and will defiantly stay here again when I come back to London. Friendly staff, great location, wonderful breakfast, clean. Any time we asked the staff a question or asked for help in reserving a taxi or a good place to eat they were extremely helpful. Thanks

Home from home

Really home from home stay. Its not flashy and not pretentious. Comfortable toom and staff were excellent nothing was to much trouble. Its location is ideal. 5 min walk from Hyde Park and another 20 min walk to knightsbrige for the shops, then easy walk up to westminstervand the palace. Paddington station is literaly around the corner if you dont fancy the walk and its on the central line (yellow) and 10 min tube ride to Victoria

Very small bedroom and bathroom but clean and comfortable. Staff always friendly and helpful. 24 hour front desk is good and the full breakfast every morning was great.

A hidden gem that is accessible to all transport links. Okay, it's not a brand-spanking shiney new corporate hotel but it's clean, tidy and the service is excellent in this family-run establishment. A great base for your trip and excellent value for money. This was our second stay, we are already planning out third.

We stayed for Two night's, it was lovely, the hotel is lovely and clean, friendly staff, and a lovely English breakfast. It is very convenient for the tube and buses, We will definitely be coming back to this hotel hopefully very soon

Mitre House is one block from Paddington Station so a great location for exploring London for our week stay. The reception staff were wonderful.... very efficient , welcoming and happy to give information. The building is full of character and well maintained for an older building. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Hot English breakfast was included.

The staff are welcoming and very helpful, bed was very comfortable and room was adequate for our needs. The only thing that lets the hotel down is the tired decor and bathrooms, was a flash back to the 70's, but we would certainly stay there again as the staff are excellent

It was awful. I could touch both sides of the wall at the same time that’s how small it was and I work nights only to be woken up in the morning by housekeepers have a good chat outside my room , yes the one with do not disturb on it. I left a day early and lost me money. It was however good for parking and the breakfast was good

Great Hotel near Paddington Station

The hotel is in a great location, just one block from Paddington Station. The room we had was small and different from the picture, but we were told we could get a larger room for a slight increase in cost. The Hotel is old but has character. The staff is amazing, friendly, and very helpful. It has a great little bar, a full breakfast, and an elevator.
