We recently stayed at Marlin Waterloo for our first trip to London, and it was an excellent experience! The location couldn’t be more convenient: it was within a 5-minute walk to the underground station, making it easy to explore the city. Major London attractions like the Parliament building, Big Ben, and the London Eye were nearby, so sightseeing was a breeze. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We loved that they used a messaging app to communicate. It made getting quick answers and assistance super convenient. The hotel was very clean and updated, with all the needed amenities. Having a kitchenette in our room was a huge bonus, especially for our family with two school-aged boys. They loved London and the hotel so much they were in tears on our last day! Overall, this is a fantastic hotel at a reasonable price. I would definitely consider staying at Marlin Waterloo again the next time I visit London.

Great hotel in a great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Having the kitchenette was so helpful with a toddler. Walking distance from many restaurants, grocery and public transportation. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Only complaint is wish there were more outlets and wish the bathroom was more updated. But otherwise we had a great stay and would chose this hotel again on our next visit to London

The hotel is conveniently located just steps from the subway/underground station, walking distance from the London eye, Parliament, etc. There is a Pret-a-Manger two doors down, very convenient for a tasty breakfast. The room was clean, quiet, modern, even better than other much more expensive hotels I stayed at in London. I would say a very good value for the price.

We had to book a hotel last minute because we had an issue with the other hotel we were staying in. The service at the Marlin was so wonderful we were in our room within 10 minutes of arrival which was great since it was 8:30 at night. We would definitely book at this hotel again.

Our bathroom was not clean. The floor was very dirty and the underside of the sink had something that looked like blood splashed on it and on the wall. Pretty disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. Otherwise, the hotel had pretty decent amenities in the room - full kitchenette and comfortables beds.

Nous avons trouvé emplacement était très bien. Par contre l’air climatisé arrête la nuit nuisait à notre sommeil!! Nous avons ouvert les fenêtres pour mieux dormir. Je trouve dommage que l’on doive écrire sur what’s app pour obtenir des services de l’hôtel. Les applications ne peuvent remplacer la chaleur d’un humain !

Marlin Waterloo Hotel is very convenient, it’s close to the tube and the central train station. The staff was very helpful, they went out of the way to help us to be comfortable at the hotel. I don’t recommend anybody Hercules Pub behind the hotel, my husband got food poisoning there. I went back to let them know and it was not a big deal for them. A burnet girl that works there had a bad altitude serving us, also I saw her touching her nose then she pick up the plates and utensils to set up the table for some else, that was disgusting!!

I have to say that with only one exception, I really liked this property. The location is great for walking to the sights, restaurants, bars and shopping. The room I stayed in was on the ninth floor with a nice view and total peace and quiet. My only major complaint was that a few hours after I checked out, I experienced some major itching on my legs and back. After inspecting the areas in question, I had what appeared to be 12 to 15 bites and I'd say the problem was caused by bed bugs. The room appeared to be clean, but bed bugs can still be an issue and I hope management investigates this problem.
