I was travelling alone and felt very safe here. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and good options. Lovely location and good transport options for getting around London. It was a little bit noisy due to other guests but would definitely recommend staying here. Good value for money.

As a student residential home it's basically a room with a bed and wash basin with a breakfast option. For a 2/3 night stay go can't really go wrong.The beds are pretty basic and not that comfortable and it can get noisy with banging doors from the other residents.But for a budget trip to the capital you can't go wrong with excellent transport links right outside the building.

Amazing!!! This was my first solo trip and I couldn’t have picked a better spot. Friendly staff, clean facilities, great breakfast and walkable to both Farringdon and Angel station with so many restaurants and shops even closer. I’m so sad to have had to leave, I would love to come back some day!!

I had a very lovely stay in Islington at the LSE's Rosebery Hall; and complete with full English breakfast daily. This is among the very best of buget deals in summer to avoid very high London prices! Visitors stay in vacant student dormitories; and it requires a bit of roughing it...but it is in a clean, safe area with all the basic amentities. Easy to locate tube station at Angel; and several bus routes pass the property itself. Very helpful and courteous 24 hour staff on premises. Its worth a try...a small but fun and adventurous approach to London in the summertime...

This is simple, basic accommodation, but it does what it does well. The number of bathrooms on each floor seems quite small (only one of each gender), but was in practice not a problem. The only problem I had was that the building was very warm in summer, and the ventilation is not really adequate to cool it at night, though it wasn't unbearable. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. The location is excellent, on several bus routes and close to Underground, the Elizabeth Line and national rail.

Cons: for me NOT the most ideal location; slightly off centre and the neighbourhood itself isnt very equipped. Also, this point isn’t really targeted at the Hall itself but some of the guests lack common sense when using common bathroom……. Really a big turn off. Pros: breakky; eradicates alll the cons of the place. And of course the staff. This male staff that checked me in was incredibly sweet ;)
