Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to post a review of the Great Northern Hotel. I was really disappointed to read that you did not enjoy your stay with us. I do understand your comments in relation to the size of our rooms. Due to the history of the building we are restricted to how the rooms are configured but we strive to ensure that facilities and amenities are of a high standard to offset the room size. I was disappointed to read that you felt that the staff were rude. I can assure you that this is not something that is the norm at the hotel and all staff will be spoken to as part of the hotel's charm should be its staff. Hi, I'm delighted that you love the pantries, they are unique and special. If you have hot water challenges in the future please let us know so we can investigate, on occasion it can take a little longer for the water to run warm but we do keep a good check on our boilers to ensure that the water is hot for all of our guests.

Thank you for your feedback and so sorry for your disappointment. We have several categories of rooms and would suggest a Cubitt style to give more space. The Pantries in each floor have been a huge success with our guests and offer free coffee, tea, fresh cake and biscuits, sweet treats, magazines and fruit at any time of the day and night. There is an Nespresso machine in each room but we have limited the tea making facilities to the pantries as his offers much more choice. I am sorry that this disappointed you. Anthony Lee, CEO
