The double room was so small it was like being in a broom cupboard. You couldn’t walk around the whole bed! Staff were so rude. If we could have we would have got a refund and gone else where.

I do understand your comments in relation to the size of our rooms. Due to the history of the building we are restricted to how the rooms are configured but we strive to ensure that facilities and amenities are of a high standard to offset the room size. I was disappointed to read that you felt that the staff were rude. I can assure you that this is not something that is the norm at the hotel and all staff will be spoken to as part of the hotel's charm should be its staff. Hi, I'm delighted that you love the pantries, they are unique and special. If you have hot water challenges in the future please let us know so we can investigate, on occasion it can take a little longer for the water to run warm but we do keep a good check on our boilers to ensure that the water is hot for all of our guests.

So much more than we expected

This hotel is lovely. It’s not what we expected, we were looking for somewhere near Kings cross but it’s a lovely comfortable place. It’s pricey and I wasn’t convinced about the couchette bed as I had to crawl past my hubby to get out. However so many things were brilliant- the room, the shower(and I hate showers) , the soaps, food, views are amazing over the roof of kings cross station. Staff were lovely, helpful and genuine.

for a 5 star hotel i was a little dissapointed given the price i had paid. the rooms did not have tea, and you needed to walk down the corridor to the pantry to make a cup of tea. The room was tiny and there was not very much storage so what limited floor space there was, was taken up by bags. Overall quite dissapointing, wouldnt stay again

Thank you for your feedback and so sorry for your disappointment. We have several categories of rooms and would suggest a Cubitt style to give more space. The Pantries in each floor have been a huge success with our guests and offer free coffee, tea, fresh cake and biscuits, sweet treats, magazines and fruit at any time of the day and night. There is an Nespresso machine in each room but we have limited the tea making facilities to the pantries as his offers much more choice. I am sorry that this disappointed you. Anthony Lee, CEO

Great location for Eurostar

We stayed here the night before our train to Paris. It was a great location. Our room was lovely. We loved the pantry at the end of the hall. Very friendly staff.
