Great hotel, great room, very practical with phone charging lamp next to bed! Lot of shampoo, coffees, tea.. would stay again!

Avoid

The room was so small, had to shuffle dideways when you get out of bed. Bathroom absolutely stank of drains. Very basic. Arrived half an hour before check in hoping to leave cases but after waiting around 10 minutes for someone to answer the reception bell we left. Bed very hard. Stains on the sheets. Lots of banging of doors. Would not recommend.

Nice but....

Great location, close to subway station and lots of restaurants around. Was disappointed by lack of elevator in the building. It was not built for elderly or peoples who need wheelchair. Corridors and stairs are very small and this can be dangerous in emergency situations

Not bad for the price paid.

Standard room for 3 was very very small, beds were ok but the duvets were way too small for the beds, the double bed duvet cover was way bigger than the duvet itself, I ended up with mainly just a sheet. Room not big enough for 3 people! No lift available so not for the infirm, we were on third floor and a lot of stairs. However room was clean and shower was lovely and hot with a rainfall shower head. Not a bad stay for the price we paid in London.

Cute place, got to check in early and upgrade my room for a slight up charge. Great location. Near underground and park. Very walkable. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice location, shame about the smoke alarm

Easy check-in, great location - few minutes from Paddington, and a minute walk from Nisa, nice restaurants too. Issues: 1. The smoke alarm went while I was taking a shower and while using the hairdryer! Only for maybe 5-8 seconds but at midnight?! It was too short that did not merit a call to reception but very crazy and annoying! 2. The throw pillow over the bed has obviously not been washed for a while. The main pillows were fine.

Very disappointing

Couple of days away with hubby. Wanted a simple hotel with no frills and reasonable cost. Needed to be in Paddington due to an event we were attending nearby. Room very tiny - only room for one bedside table. Wakened twice with fire alarm on 1st night, quickly disabled by receptionist. Asked what the problem was....."someone taking a shower set it off"! Room was dark. View from window was back yard with walls and other windows piled high in bird poop! 1st morning shower around 8am was freezing cold. Water in tap freezing too! Informed reception on way out at 9.15am and he admitted to only just turning boiler on! Positives........ clean but tiny shower room. Comfy bed with clean bedding but hard flat pillows. 2nd morning, hot water and shower. Pleasant reception staff.
