The Edward Hotel was walkable to food and all the entertainment and shops. The room was small but perfect for what we needed for our stay in London. The one downside was that the A/C didn’t work all too well. But we would stay here again.

Room in need of an update and deep clean. Arrived to the hotel after booking, and were told they could not accommodate our booking and were given a room with only two beds (double and single) instead of the three single bed room pictured for the Triple room. Left us in an uncomfortable position as it was a work trip… The staff only offered an extra duvet or a refund to find alternative accommodation at 7pm. The next morning when checking out, we were asked how the night was as and we shrugged it off, but asked again to explain our hesitancy, to be told “the Triple Room booking with three beds is only a request and we can’t keep everyone happy.” Probably should be stated that the Triple Room may be a double and a single. In a convenient position for Paddington Station and Hyde Park. Shower was good, but parts of the tap were missing.

Great little Budget Hotel for Short Stay

Perfect budget hotel. stayed two nights. rooms are a little worn but very clean and serviceable. Extremely nice staff. No real amenities - a great location with a value for money stay. Wouldn't recommend stay with family or for extended stay but for one or two nights just perfect.

Good location but machinery noises day and night

The hotel is a great location and the staff were friendly. However there was a constant mechanical noise day and night. We were on the top floor and it was machinery on the roof. We flagged it to staff but were told there was nothing that could be done. As such we didn't sleep for our 2 night stay.

I was there for a 1 night stay and the location was super convient for both walking to attractions and taking the tube. The room had some wear and tear but was clean and great for the quick stop over. I was even able to check in early and the staff were friendly and helpful

The beds and pillows were so uncomfortable that I barely slept for 2 nights. Constantly being woke up by other people staying in the hotel as the walls seem to be very thin. I would not stay again.

This hotel was disgusting! The rug was supper dirty, and one of our beds and the window curtains had weird stains. They have a bidet in the toilet; however, it doesn’t work. The walls between the rooms are so thin, we were able to hear people sneeze.

Convenient location, all essential needs, such as bed, shower, towels, kettle, haridryer, clean bed linen/towels etc. are met. There was also a desk with seat, which was a bonus for my computer work. I found the bed too soft, the aircon/heating too noisy and there was a bright light shining through the window all night. Managable for a night or two though. The room needs a bit TLC but overall a good experience.

The pictures of the hotel are outdated. The single rooms are absolutely tiny and everything is just worn and starting to fall apart.

Stayed at the Edward Hotel whilst attending an event at the Royal Lancaster Hotel 5 minutes walk away. Chose to stay at the Edward Hotel as it was much more affordable. The room was very comfortable with quiet air conditioning and clean. Main criticism was the tiny shower room but this is not uncommon for a London hotel. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Felt safe walking around the area as a lone female. Helpful staff on the front desk. Although no meals are provided there is the option to order in but I didn’t try this feature. Numerous restaurants close by.

Rooms are quite small for the value. Blankets are very thin and seem that they could serve as large towels too. The staff is courteous. No issue there. The shower was good and allows for tall people.

Great location and the staff were lovely. The bed was horrendous needed replacing, could feel the springs poking though, headboard was broken and held together with velcro.

We asked for the shower curtain to be replaced as the one in our room was stained and old. The water also did not drain properly whilst showering so each person had to stand in dirty water. The carpets also felt old and dirty. Overall not satisfied with this experience for the price we paid a $276.00 USD - night
