We enjoyed pur stay very much. The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and it has an optimal location. Very close to the Underground and many bus lines in the area.

Quietest hotel ever. Concierge lacked any knowledge of the area. Offered no useable advice. Rest of staff went the extra mile. Cleaning staff actually pushed us out of the way to help with our bags. Front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was excellent except for the typical European watery undercooked eggs and fatty undercooked bacon. Sausages were best ever. There were many choices otherwise. I will return here.

Good location, room could do with an update
I stayed for 2 nights while in London for work. It's an excellent location and the staff were great. Breakfast was good with great service. The room was small, but enough for one person on a short trip. It just needs a bit of an update, like a new carpet, some paint, updated furniture.

Close to Lancaster Gate tube station it was an ideal location. Checked in very late due to busy day in London. Staff were polite. They had booked a double room when I asked for a twin room but this was soon rectified. Room was small but comfortable. Breakfast was good with a few choice options. There was also a £40 credit card deposit asked for at the time of arrival which wasn't mentioned at the time of booking so I wasn't happy with this but this wasn't taken off my card as I didn't use any of the amenities. Overall good experience.

Great location and low price for London, otherwise poor quality, variable service, tiny noisy room in need of repair, acceptable breakfast. I would choose a premier inn instead of staying here.

Very good value for a hotel of this quality in this prime location. The criticisms mainly are the somewhat aging condition of the room and fittings. Also, I had a single room and whilst the room size was adequate for the cost, the bathroom was so small I could barely get through the door and the shower located in a position that made it very hard to use. Never the less, the good value means I would return,

My room was basic, but generally fine. Shower was not good as there was a lowered wall jutting into shower area meaning I couldn't properly stand up to shower. Odd and cramped.

Great stay. Close to tube. Staff at check in and check out. Dante was super helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was fabulous, good quality hot and plenty of choice. Breakfast staff were really attentive. 2 mins from buses and Lancaster Gate tube.

Professional staff, especially Dante who is approachable and made us feel welcome. Dante offered breakfast in the hotel which we definitely love, having coffee and tea in the sunroom and just across the Hyde park. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. I will again book on our next trip.

Disgusting
The foyer looked nice, BUT the corridors and room really smelled awful of mould and dirt The room was very unpleasant, as it smelled and was very small and old. We told the receptionist who moved us to a room that smelled worse, although a little bit bigger. So we were forced to upgrade. The man we spoke to said he would refund us £10, but when we came to pay had only refunded £5! We did tell the duty staff who said she would talk to to him To summarise, this totally spoiled our trip, which was an anniversary treat! It was absolutely disgusting for the overpriced room. We would like a REFUND please as we have received NONE! Thank you, Chris Padley
