We recently stayed at this hotel as a family of 3 and had a fantastic experience. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from transport links to London and major tourist attractions. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the check-in and check-out process seamless and stress-free. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of options that catered to different tastes, all at a reasonable price. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking to explore London while enjoying a comfortable stay. I highly recommend it!

Do not have breakfast there
Reception staff polite and helpful, room was spacious and clean with decent shower ensuite to the room. Had to ask where breakfast was and there was no instruction in how to find the room. Water available by lift in dispenser with bottles available. Hotel is not set up for dealing with the guests for breakfast. Witnessed staff member being rude with a mum waiting to be seated as there were no tables. Several guest groups put in conference room as an over spill, with no hot food so you had to go back down a corridor. No tea spoons for tea/coffee, no brown sauce, no spoon to serve tomato sauce. Plates were not in a warmer so food went cold quick. Baked beens were large beans in a tomato watery juice, scrambled egg did not look cooked. Bacon was greasy. Coffee was bitter like it had been stewing.

My stay was pretty satisfactory. Personally I'm not a fan of self check-in, but the process was fairly smooth with personnel available to help promptly. There were no slippers in the room - which I always find disappointing - but they were brought to me promptly when I asked to the reception. The room was overall clean. The breakfast area is a level below the rest of the hotel: it is a sort of Cote space underground with average service.

Very nice hotel next to St Paul’s and several transportation options (Metro, Bus, Big Bus). Great breakfast and adjacent restaurant for dining. Very small bathrooms and rooms but newly updated.

We have stayed at this hotel at various times over the past 20 years and have always had an excellent stay. Staff are always very helpful and friendly. Recently refurbished, the new bathrooms are fantastic and decor in rooms is nice. But, I feel the hotel has lost some of its positives. The lounge is less comfortable and too crowded now. Also, putting a cafe in reception isn’t a positive as well as removing the free refreshments in the lounge. And, where have the guest cupboards in the corridors gone? They were great for an extra milk or tea bags. Just little things but they were what made the hotel special.

From the welcoming greeting by staff throughout the stay the hotel did not disappoint. Easy check in, friendly helpful staff. Cosy well appointed refurbished room which was very clean and had everything we required. Coat hooks, complimentary toiletries. Nespresso coffee machine and the real bonus of smart TV to stream Netflix etc. We were made aware on arrival that the rooms would be serviced every two days but cleaners always asked if we had any requirements daily, great service during our 4 night stay. Don’t let the fact there is no restaurant be a negative as there are dozens of cafes, restaurants and pubs literally outside the doors. Finally the hotel location is perfect for literally anywhere in London. Blackfriars tube station 5 minutes walk away and access to the World from there. Perfect hotel and perfect stay
