Very poor compared to the last time I stayed
I have stayed before and was content, however my most recent stay failed to meet expectations. Initially the online only check in didn't work, I was checked in but the code was invalid, needed to contact call centre for a new one to progress. Got into the room to find it very cold with both heaters unplugged. Then find TV missing the remote, Settled in to very cold bed, but mattress was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Had to queue for the shared showers in the morning and then when I got to the front there was no hot water. A cold shower after a cold night was rather unwelcome.

PUT A SIGN ON YOUR BATHROOM
NO SIGN TO THE BATHROOM, HAD TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE MAN HAD ME WALKING ALL OVER THE PROPERTY LIKE AN IDIOT FOR AGES UNTIL IT GOT TO THE POINT WHERE I WOKE UP A GUEST AND SHE POINTED ME TO THE BATHROOM. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. The customer service guy was somewhere on the other side of the world and sent me THE WRONG WAY bc his directions were WRONG.

We stayed on the second floor facing the street, very busy intersection and Borough station - very loud with street noises throughout the night. No lift which was tough but staff was great. Great beeakfastvpkacevroghtbnrcyvdoor!
