If you’re looking for an economical place to stay (especially for one person) this place is great. Safe area, loads of character, walkable to everything Westminster, it was cute and clean (the bedding and pillows were great, made of cotton not gross polyester!). It was perfect.
A nice and excellently situated hotel. Room was small (as advised) but perfectly suitable for me. Impressed by the lack of noise in my room even with the window open.

Easy walk from Plimlico tube. Staff pleasant -stayed two nights and room cleaned in between. On top floor which may cause access problems for less abled. Room was small which just accommodated double bed. On-suite even smaller -required acrobatic flexibility to use! Relatively quite for London, and I suppose relatively inexpensive ? (£125 a night is not good value in my opinion)
Nice clean basic hotel. Well connected with buses and tube stations (4 minute walk Pimlico and 9 minutes to Victoria). No bar or eating facilities which isn’t a problem as places nearby. Ideal as a base if you just need somewhere to sleep. Would stay again.
The staff was amazing and Philip was extraordinary helpful. The room my husband and I were in was so small the bathroom door hit the bed. When sitting on the toilet the sink was literally in your face. We slept well. It was a super close walk to the TUBE, underground transportation system.

Tired and basic.
The reception staff we welcoming but this hotel was very tired in decor and finish. Plug sockets were difficult to reach behind tables for instance and the kettle had to be placed on the floor due to short cable. Floor was uneven and squeaky. The finish in the rooms needed refreshed and in need of an upgrade. I’ve stayed in similar hotels in this area for a similar price point over last year and recently. This one had the lowest standard of rooms.
We left and they refused a refund. The decorative pillows on the bed, against the bed pillows, were dirty. The room and bathroom were extremely small and cramped.
Very nice hotel in a classic building. Perfect location, close to two metro stations, and the train and bus stations. My single room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly. Highly recommended, I hope to return!

The Blades Hotel is a very comfortable small hotel within walking distance of the Victoria Railway Station (~15 mins) and very close to the Pimlico Underground station. The stop for Bus #24 is nearly adjacent to the hotel, another added convenience. The rooms are small by 21st Century standards but typical for central London hotels. Our room was very clean and quiet. Staff at the Reception Desk were very friendly. My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Blades Hotel and were very comfortable.
