Good location for Hop On - Hop Off bus. Lots of restaurants in the area. Breakfast was excellent. Room was small for 2 people and the shower water pressure was lousy.

This hotel is a bit of a gem. Beautiful restaurant and garden area at the back. A nice peaceful spot to relax at the end of a busy day in London. Nice lobby and helpful staff. We had a room overlooking the back garden. Windows opened and it was a good sleep. No air conditioning so could be warm if a hot summer day. A fan was provided in the room. I would stay here again.

This is a lovely Hotel, spotlessly clean and staffed with attentive,pleasant,helpful people. Nothing was a problem for any staff member we met. It is ideally located for easy access to the Underground stations of Russel Square and Holborn and is in a lovely part of London. The Hotel also has a beautiful Courtyard garden with a lovely Bar and Restaurant too!

Great friendly hotel

My mum fell on the tube escalator and the hotel let us check in early then the staff rallied round to help find plastic gloves so she could take a shower excellent staff at this hotel would definitely recommend

Recently refurbished and very centrally located in walking distance to 2 tube stations. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were friendly. The only drawback was the closet-sized bathroom, one tiny room with the toilet only and one with the bathtub and sink, which was so small it was difficult to turn around within it. Otherwise, the main room was a decent size for London. I would stay here again.

Wonderful stay! The check in process was quick and the staff was so kind. I was given a well appreciated early check in as I was flying in from far away. The room was spacious enough having in mind it is located in one of the best parts of London. The hotel is well located and the service was great. I just had a bit of problem with the water pressure on the toilette but aside of that was a perfect stay. I would definitely would come back!

Nice hotel, great location, and terrific staff

This is a very nice hotel in what was for us a perfect location. Our stay was made all the more enjoyable by the friendly and helpful staff, both at the reception desk and at the bar. One word of caution to light sleepers. It’s an old hotel with thin walls. We had the misfortune one night of having a man with a very loud voice talking on the phone until after 1:00 a.m. We stayed at the Bedford a second time at the end of our two weeks in England and had no such problems the second time.

Mr. Tarvo, excellency in service

I had a technical problem with processing an email that I needed help with, and it was nighttime. 3 of the female staff basically ignored me, it was thanks to Mr. Tarvo, who was very professional and spent an hour trying and finally succeeding at solving my problem, all while 2 of the female staff spent the same hour complaining about their job, mind you in front of me, a guest. I commend Mr. Tarvo for his commitment to his guests and above and beyond customer service. Thumbs down to the rest of the reception staff that night
