Everything was good apart from the room, it was a small box room without a TV and not being able to see outside made it claustrophobic

Disappointing Stay

I booked a two-night stay at the hotel, but my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was informed that I would need to change rooms after the first night due to scheduled maintenance. When I requested a different room, the hotel offered to move me to their sister property a few minutes away. However, upon arriving there, I was told that the hotel was fully booked, and I had to return to the original hotel. After all this back-and-forth, I was eventually given a room that was clearly designed for guests with disabilities, which made it quite uncomfortable for me. The sink and shower were very low, and the toilet had a bar awkwardly placed beside it. Despite the inconvenience and disruption, no compensation was offered, nor was it even mentioned. Very disappointing overall.

This is only a review on customer service and communication as we didn’t stay at the hotel. Around a week before our stay my partner was taken into hospital, I emailed the hotel on multiple occasions to see if there was any chance of changing the dates or a possible refund but had no response. I contacted Expedia who informed me that they had also tried to contact the hotel without response. However when I first booked the hotel I had enquired about leaving our hand luggage early so we could explore the area without having to carry them, they were very quick to respond and say that we could for a fee of £15 per bag. They eventually got back to me 3 days after we was due to stay. I know that this was a no-refund booking however some communication before we was due to stay would have helped. I would have given the reservation to a family member or friend to have enjoyed rather than throwing the money away. Again this is not a review on the hotel facilities just on the customer service.

Amazing location in Leicester Square and to all the theatre district! Very close to tube stations as well. The hotel was very clean, and very well sound insulated - nice and quiet at night! Check in was a breeze and convenient. Would highly recommend.

The space of the room was exetremely small to do anything but sleeping. Only the location was good. The sink in the bathroom was too small that water was spilt all over the area.

This is a “no frills” hotel with small but comfortable rooms (similar to a cruise ship). One downside is there is no kettle, tea or coffee. The location is great and the staff were pleasant.

Great location. No frills last minute stay in a small room at reasonable price. Great rooftop bar with incredible views and the service there was great with good wifi to work from. No complaints. A decent place to stay if you’re not spending any great length of time in the room.
