Need to check hotels.com bookings carefully

Room was adequate but clean. Though the hotel is now quite tired. I had paid for breakfast but this wasn’t offered - disappointing as I specifically paid for this through hotels.com.

A little tired - needs a makeover

Automated check out and in was great and room was a good size but decor was tired and the hotel felt a bit run down. breakfast choice pretty good and decent quality.

A great hotel

A great hotel in the centre of Leeds. We had an executive room overlooking city square. There was a full bathroom with a great shower and hairdryer. Plenty of wardrobe space with hangers. Please note that the bar operates on a cashless basis.

Super stay.. bad beds

Stay was great and staff fantastic. Bed was terrible, mattress topper wouldn’t go amis, it was so hard. Sleeping was incredibly difficult. Also says on site parking… there is not!

Definitely not 4*

Advertised as a 4* hotel but didn't feel like it. No restaurant at the weekends for an evening meal, very basic room with no facilities other than tea/coffee. Bed was very uncomfortable. No option to have maid service during the stay. Would not stay here again

Stayed on a Saturday night, we paid for 2hrs early check in @£7.50 ph. Double room was lovely and clean, everything you need, kettle, iron, hairdryer, fridge, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash dispensers. Restaurant not open over the weekend for some reason but plenty of places nearby, we went to the hotel bar for a few cocktails to be told he wasn't "doing " cocktails. So we went somewhere else. Breakfast buffet was a bit ropey, usual choices of cooked, continental, fruit etc. The hot food wasn't very warm, the bacon and mushrooms were sitting in loads of oil and hashbrowns were lukewarm and dry. Felt sorry for the 2 staff members we seen, 1 lady was serving the coffee's and tea's and the other lady was booking you in, seating you, filling up the bread etc, didn't see anyone clearing tables in the half hour we were there, they could have a staff shortage possibly, all in all it was just ok.
