Poor communication
Quite possibly one of the most stressful stays I’ve had. I tried to contact the owners of the property for over a week regarding the parking situation (The road outside the property is permit only but was eventually told it is free at weekends). When someone eventually picked up I got told to send a message and someone would reply to me straight away, this took a further 2 days and more messages before getting a response. I was then over charged and payments were taken out of my bank a week before they were scheduled to with no pre warning. When arriving at the property I phoned to get the lock box information to get inside and it took 20 minutes of phoning for someone to give us the code. I then had to send a breakage deposit by bank transfer which I think is very unprofessional and unsafe. When leaving the property there were no products left for us to clean up, risking us not getting the deposit back. No bin bags, no sprays to clean down the sides etc. The property itself was lovely, very well kept and as shown in the pictures. Clean towels and bedding provided. Just the overall communication was extremely poor and made the visit to a new city more stressful than it needed to be.
