We stay here quite often, but our last time, people were smoking in other rooms by ours, and it was filtering through our vents. I am a smoker, and i go outside and away from the buildings, but we had the More is Merrier suite and had 4 people in our room with 1 being a child, and it was unpleasant to say the least.

I really enjoyed this property. The overall stay is only a 3 because of the parking situation. You have to use park mobile app. It’s 30 dollars a day with no in and out privileges, so when you leave, you have to pay again. The parking was the only thing I did not like about staying here. If you plan on staying at the beach and not going anywhere else it’s a great little place. Close to the beach, the Mexican restaurant next door offers a free margarita between 5-6 as well if you stay at this place as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Maybe find another place to stay
When we checked in to Hollywood Beach Suites, we were surprised to find that the room looked very different from the pictures online. The floor was a gross laminate-type flooring that I did not feel comfortable walking around barefoot—thank God I brought several pairs of socks with me! We booked a Queen bed. However, the bed was obviously not a Queen, but rather a Full. My husband and I immediately wanted to check out and go to a different hotel, but that was a little difficult seeing as how there were thousands of Swifties swarming Miami to see The Eras Tour that weekend. So we stayed. We slept on top of the comforter because if there was a bed that had bedbugs, it would be this one. What most stood out (and not in a good way) was the smell. It was a mixture of mildew and a musty-smell. I understand that it’s right by the ocean (A PRO), but get a dehumidifier or something. The aforementioned comforter that we slept on felt damp to the touch. All in all, this was not a wonderful hotel. It was pretty gross and grimy. The staff was nice enough and there was a cat there (love you, Cheetah!), but if you’re not a college kid, find somewhere else to stay.

Very Enjoyable stay and experience!!
My room was very comfortably and suited me very well. The in room a/c was a little noisy, but that's understandable due to they all make noise. The beach was about 300 feet from my room. I wish I new and understood the park mobile app and parking situation prior to actual arriving. But once I knew about it and was using it, it was very simple to keep it up to date. The room was about 250 feet from the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. The Boardwalk was amazing with all sorts of eat and drinking establishments and entertainment along the way. I would most definitely stay at Hollywood Beach Suites and Hotel again, if I am in the area. All staff that I encounted were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure my stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend this place.

Next to the beach walkway, this hotel is well located for beach lovers. Rooms are clean, service is fine. Plan to return again. Well, if they get true to the hidden fees of $30 or $40 after what the App gives you (maybe to feed the "hidden hand? YKWIM, If there were better disclosure this would be a great plus and makes a whole lot of difference when checking in. Ahh! and they ask for a $100 USD deposit. I guess is to protect their property from thieves, vandals and those sticky visitors who steal everything from the room at checkout. Bad, bad, bad visitors, they make the good people be placed under scrutiny.
