The hotel was great, service was great in the room, the pool and beach area. The cons are, the can beers at the beach bar where never cold only a bit cool, unlike at the pool that where very cold all the time. The Cafe at Secrets Akumal was open 24 hrs, not at Secrets Playa Mujeres. The daily pool events were a bit boring and repetitive. Since I booked I requested a surprise for my wife since it was our wedding anniversary and my wife's bday, I asked at check-in, I even called 2 days later and requested it again and we never got anything.

I love everything except that during dinner or any activity in the pool you have to buy a bottle if you want to get your own table and for a very expensive price if you don’t buy this you can’t have your own table and will seat where the stuff assigned you too , if I travel I travel to have privacy and a good time with my couple or familia members , for a hotel at this level this should Be managed different.

Stayed 6 days and enjoyed everything about it. The staff was amazing, especially Felix and Antonio. They ensure you are having a great time and never once fail to smile! They take their time to remember your names which is amazing with all the people coming and going. Food was good. Our Favorites were Italian and Japenese. The hotel area is very secluded so the store prices in the hotel are beyond expensive and so was the spa. Overall, it's a hotel we would definitely go back to.

Secrets playa mujeres is absolutely beautiful, the pools are amazing , some of the buildings need remodeling ( hotel said next year in April they will be closed as they are going to remodel ) the rooms were clean , very nice ! The beach is absolutely stunning ! Will definitely be coming back ! Ulises , Carlos , Antonio , Juan and Bryan all part Of the entertainment deserve a recognize , they were always so welcoming to us and made our stay so fun !!

Wow, my time at Secrets Playa Mujeres was absolutely phenomenal! The resort's lavish amenities, stunning views, and outstanding service made it a stay to remember. Resort is beautiful except where we had our breakfast buffet the ceilings have tons of water damage and holes this should get fixed to nice of a resort to leave this unattended. We were treaded bad by the day bartenders especially at swim up bar. They are racist I speak fluent Spanish and had to act as if I did not speak Spanish to get treated better. They expect tips first before the good service that’s not right I had to buy my self the servís this is not correct.
