Staff very friendly and efficient at both check in and bar. Room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Had an excellent meal served in the bar.
I love this hotel and stay every time I have a race in snowdonia. Staff are always great as are the rooms.
This time around however, Lodge 37, was very cold and the radiator wouldn’t come on.
Another thing was the fan in the bathroom, is is so loud and you can’t turn it off
Lovely setting of hotel in the countryside. All areas well maintained, comfortable and relaxing. Staff very helpful.
A big plus, having Wrexham Lager on draft!!
Staff very friendly and helpful. Free parking at venue. Good gym and pool and spa facilities. Breakfast was good . Room was clean and spacious. Near to mountains of Snowdonia.
Quaint hotel, reminded me of the lodge from Dirty Dancing. Short 5-10 minute walk into the centre area but it was perfect us a team. Food was incredible, both the evening and I must say one of the breakfasts I've ever had in any hotel ive ever stayed at. Will definitely return
Stayed for a two night "get away" for North Wales and the hotel was ideal for this. First impressions are that whilst the hotel and lobbies are up to date, the room was slightly dated in its decor however, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the there was no light pollution which led to a good nights sleep; it was also extremely quiet too. Breakfast which was good (scrambled eggs and salmon- yummy) and used the health club although the pool was full of kids, but it was school holidays so, book carefully. Overall, it was a good stay, the staff were all brilliant and I would happily book this hotel again.
Nice and friendly staff. Lovely lodge, which makes it feel more private, in a lovely place.
Good breakfast too. Loads of good walks straight from the hotel.
Unfortunately, our stay was subpar for the extortionate price.
Pros: ground floor rooms with allocated parking in front of the room entrance; early check-in; adequately clean
Cons: We paid £700 for 3 nights (4 guests, breakfast not included, pool entry not included, no extras) and we felt quite duped with how poor the quality of the rooms were. Everything was very very dated; our room was made up but our bedding was never changed once even though it was stained; bedding had old marks/stains on it; room smelt of sewage/drains; toilet paper was horrendous quality; no mobile shower head just a fixed one that directed the water straight down into the drain so was hard to shower without standing in the drain yourself; poor WiFi; train track right outside the room window which was not mentioned anywhere on booking or arrival; 2 out of 4 guests got bitten by something at night (windows were shut); rusty coil kettle, etc.
We were gone all day and only stayed the night and didn't look forward to coming back to the rooms and felt like we had lost our holiday savings and taken advantage of because of the location/season.
Budget hotels definitely put more effort into their rooms and comfort.
Lovely area, poor quality.
A short stay for us we found very pleasant. We stayed in one of the external rooms. A big plus for us was you can take your Dog for a small extra charge. The hotel has a dog friendly area and they are well catered for. The room had everything required for a comfortable stay.
We were made very welcome on arrival by the receptionist on duty. She informed us that we had been allocated a lodge to stay in with parking right outside our door which was fabulous as we were driving our classic car on this trip so we felt re-assured that the car was within eyesight of our accommodation. The village was a short walk away with all of the bars, scenery and facilities at hand. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Betws-y-coed as it was excellent in every way and made our stay relaxing and stress free! Thank you

Reception desk very helpful. Limited options on the restaurant’s menu. Prices for food high. Service in the bar area was slow. The accommodation was very clean but furnishings in the bathroom looked worn/ tired. The French windows wouldn’t open. We have used this hotel many times and the only time we felt disappointed.
