We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The rooms were very secure and safe. You can only access your room floor with your room key. A little inconvenient if you have family on different levels but I appreciated their level of security. We had a staywell room. The room was beautifully decorated. The bed was the best Ive ever slept in besides my own. So comfortable. The shower was like a spa and I loved their hand soap. The towels were very soft as well and they have many amenities including a beautiful pool which we didn't get to use. The only down side I would say is that you have to ask to have your room cleaned and I asked to have mines cleaned just because I wanted our towels refreshed and the girl at the desk took our info and they never came to clean our room. The parking garage is free. Its a short walk which we didnt mind but it did smell a lot like weed. But I know they can only control so much and we got into our car pretty quickly. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay and we will definitely stay here again.

There is so much to do at the property. From the movie theater, comedy club, to the casino, you will have loads of fun and you don’t need a car.

It tried to be more trendy-looking than functional. Even though there were 2 doors between the toilet and the bedroom, you can still hear everything in the toilet room because of the walls and floor materials. Dark room, limited outlets. No difference between the “stay well” floor and the regular floors except higher price. I like the CT casinos/hotels better.

Pros: The hotel is beautiful. Our room was clean & comfortable. I appreciate the security of only hotel guests being able to access the upper floors. Cons: Waited 10 minutes for valet park on arrival & no one came to take our car, so we went to self-park. Next, we had to schlep our luggage across the casino because there is no parking near the lobby. We were there for an event offsite, so we went downstairs to check out the casino before we had to leave. The first slot machine took my money & immediately went off line. Not the best start. We also inquired about a spot for a nice breakfast the following morning. They recommended the grab & go at the coffee shop. No restaurant, no room service, just that or the diner in the South End Market. Returned late after our event. The hotel was so noisy. Loud tv noise coming from the next room, people stomping around above us & frat boys loud talking & running up & down the hallways. Fortunately I had my white noise & a pair of earplugs with me. Next morning, we planned to do a little gambling before we left, but had to check out by 11. Got downstairs& were immediately informed that we can’t take our bags onto the casino floor. So now we’re expected to schlep our luggage back out to our car & then come back to gamble? Sorry, no. Time to go. MGM is pretty to look at but not well thought out. They make everything too difficult. My husband is mobility impaired & dragging luggage all over impractical. Not likely to be back.

Nice hotel if you aren't planning to sleep. I have to say, I did love the design of the hotel. Very modern/masculine with some cool decor. The bathroom was also modern with a glass shower (no tub for those who care about tubs), but there was a huge wad of hair in the drain. Ew. The biggest issue, however, is that the walls are paper thin. We actually booked 10 rooms (separately) for an event, and everyone complained about hearing their neighbors cough, flush the toilet, and everything else you do in a hotel room. The night before our event, there must have been a party in a board room in the floor below us and all night we could hear music and loud voices - I'm talking SHOUTING! Finally the group sang Happy Birthday around midnight and things started to calm down a bit. Unfortunately, I need my sleep, so I don't think I'd stay there again.
