The hotel was a good place to stay in the center of Boston. Staff were very friendly & helpful when I arrived & checked in. My room was clean & comfortable, the one negative thing was the noise from a fan, or some motor running during the night. I would stay here again. Thanks,

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great neighborhood and within walking distance of a LOT. The building is beautiful, but not very well maintained. There was mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom, the showerhead leaked and sprayed out of the shower, and worst of all, the air conditioning didn't work well. It was 78 in my room one morning when I woke up.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to have at least 2 comfortable chairs in the room. There was only one very small chair. The bed was good but the bathroom was small and the door would graze the toilet when opening and closing.

It was close to a ton of restaurants and 2 different train routes. The staff was super helpful with printing directions to get us on the correct trains to travel to Salem! The was a grocery store next door so we were able to have snacks and breakfast in our room. They do have a restaurant, but there is no free breakfast.

Very tired hotel. Weird room shape. There’s a price point past which - about half of this - one should be able to count on being able to comfortably sit on the toilet without banging one’s knees lol. Stained old carpets. No proper coffee in the hotel. Just meh in every way. This is a $200/night max hotel.
