Bad Service

We ordered 2 buger meals. I wanted mine burger plain (no sauce whatsoever). after a approx half an hour wait my burger came with sauce. When the waiter/barman took it back to the kitchen we could hear the chef shouting and swearing. The waiter came back out of the kitchen and said he had given me and husband our meals the wrong way round but when my husband gave me his meal it also had sauce on it, so again I asked the waiter to get it changed to what I had ordered. Once again we heard the chef shouting. After about 20 minutes of waiting for my new burger we saw the receptionist go in the kitchen and come out with burger and chips which she tood to the reception desk and comsummed herself. Whilst waiting for my correct burger for another 40 minutes I then cancelled my order and asked for a refund. Then had a bag of crisps and a bar of choclate for my dinner, which wasn't ideal but that was all I had.

Excellent overall The only downside is the bathroom we had was very small and I think I would find it claustrophobic if I stayed longer than a few days

My particular room had, shall we say, problems. I can get along with tiny but this room was both tiny and "weird." By that I mean having six corner angles and only a couple of them were right angles. The toilet was truly the smallest I've seen in a "modern" hotel. On Saturday night into Sunday morning I was awoken by bouts of what could pass for riots -- screaming thumping crashing -- you name it. Oh, and the carpet which looked like a biohazard -- no telling what might be living in there. If it was mine I'd forget about cleaning it and rip it up and burn it. But that is just me and some people might think me fussy about housekeeping.
