Small clean and comfortable

The room was very small with hanging space for clothes and a small table. No drawers or shelves for anything else . The bathroom was very very small, you couldn't dry yourself without opening the door and had to be careful not to hit your head on the wall when sitting on the loo. Having sais all this the room was clean and the beds comfortable . There was a very weird smell in the room, we were offered a different room but didn't bother for the one night. Our room was next to the lift which meant we got woken up by people coming in throughout the early hours on Saturday night.

Ibis uses dynamic pricing, so the value of this hotel very much depends what you pay for the room. The reception/bar/seating area is modern and attractive. Our room was quite small, but adequate. There was lots of noise from people in the corridor. The bathroom was tiny and the toilet bowl cracked. We arrived very early and could not get our room, but they held our luggage for us and we were free to head off for the day. The next day they again held the cases until we went to the airport. It is a short taxi ride from the cruise port, walkable to the station and about 15 minutes walk from Gunwharf Quays and the historic dockyard.

The rooms were tiny and the bathroom especially was far too small. Only one additional pillow in a double room and only two pillows on the bed originally. When the towels were replaced, one of them was dirty with brown stains. Only two sugars in the tea caddy. The TV states that you can cast your phone to it but after a while of trying, we asked reception, only to be told it wasn't possible. The fire alarm went off multiple times in the middle of the night when there was no fire.

Convenient - easy walk to the city centre and 15 mins walk to Gunwharf Quaysm Friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast - lots of options! Great night sleep!

Room was very small and basic for the price. Noise from nightclub over the road went on until 3am. Windows clearly not very sound proof. No phone in room to contact “reception”. Despite check out being at midday, when I returned to my room at 11.45am to collect my things, I had been locked out and had to get my key card reactivated

Fine for one night.

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Bathroom so tiny and shower poor volume and warm rather than hot. Carpet looked manky! - but it was reasonably priced and in a great location.
