So gross
The room was so dirty. There was a bar of soap with hair on it left in the shower. The carpet was sticky. The tv in the kid's room didn't work. The lock on the door was broken. The heater in the room didn't get hot and just blew cold air all night so it was freezing. We won't ever stay here again.

—door was crooked in the frame and would only open if we shoved it with shoulders. It would not lock when shut. —bugs in the room —not enough outlets —broken lamp —uncomfortable mattresses —staff did not seem concerned about any of these issues when reported.

The hotel has gone down the hill the property is in really bad conditions they gave me the wrong room and when I open the door it was vomit everywhere the beds a mess and smell horrible the hallways smells horrible never again will I stay here and if you have kids don’t bring them here the smell of weed is horrible

It looked like it has never been upgraded since built in the late sixties. The worst part was the heater didn't work despite freezing temps in Florida that night. The staff told me there was a problem with the heaters maintenance were working on but I don't think the heaters ever worked. We couldn't stay there and it seems like they haven't refunded me. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

After two room changes finally decided to find another hotel the place smells like sewage outside inside all the fruniture looks like they got if from another flooded out hotel. Dead roaches on the sticky dark carpet, exposed electrical wires smells like it’s been wet inside prior they should really for the safety of tourists condemn the place. Stay their and find out don’t say I didn’t warn you

I wasn't expecting a lot for the price but we only needed it for one night until we could check into our condo. But this was disgusting. I'm usually so good about looking at reviews and I booked through Expedia and they have it listed at 3.5 stars. I wish I could give it 0 stars. I don't know how this place is still open. The room was filthy. Stains on the beds, the couch, blood stains in the bathroom. They had the nerve to charge me and additional $20 resort fee, the pools are all closed, there is garbage everywhere. They even offered us another room and it was even worse. I can't express in words how bad this place is.

This place is disgusting 0 star
This property is in horrible shape. Picture of the room I rented was fully renovated. What I received was horrible. Mattresses were old and not flat. The room was no renovated. Hot water did not work and wall plugs didn’t hold in a charger so I got a different room. Second room was almost the same. This place is run down and disgusting. I talked to front desk person and they say they have new investors and are renovating but I was there a week and didn’t see anything going on. It was too late to cancel and find new accommodations or I would have.

The receptionist Wanda was excellent and she got a ground floor room for me which was well equipped. The hotel itself is in a great location for The Fun Spot and Old Town as it is only a short walk. The hotel is in dire need of renovation but if all you need is a room and a shower it is fine.

Stay away from this place.
The only thing good about this place is the location to Old Town. We stayed here back in January of this year and didn't have that much of an issue. This trip was horrible and we will never stay here again. If it wasn't for the fact that it is almost 1am and my daughter is exhausted, we would have left and disputed the charges since they "Don't give out refunds". Another guest stated that it was his third room and he was ready to just leave and they refused to give him a refund as well. The front desk behaved as if the broken door that wouldn't lock (even after maintenance came and banged on the latch with a wrench) was my fault. The room that they moved us to was no better. There was dirt all over the floor. The Murphy bed was disgusting and the room was overall not kept up in repairs. At least this room closed after we had to push hard on it to shut it properly and had a latch. The TV had nonworking channels. I took a videos of everything, but this app is not allowing me to upload them or my photos

My stay at Seralago Hotel & Suites Main Gate East was disappointingly poor. The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired, with unemptied trash bins and dusty surfaces throughout. Communication with the staff was frustrating; they were unresponsive and lacked information when needed. The overall condition of the property was below par, with outdated rooms and malfunctioning amenities. Additionally, the area surrounding the hotel felt unsafe at night, and parking was both limited and inconvenient. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Wow! SeraLago has definitely stepped up their rooms. We stayed in the new suites and had plenty of room for 3 adults. Separated bedroom, living room and kitchen area. I would suggest coffee maker and a comfy chair but everything else was great for the price.
