As soon as I arrived with my family and entered the room we were horrified at the sight of our room. The carpet was very wet. You can see black mold and there were many roaches all over. I was in shock as I have never seen a hotel room look this bad. Before I booked this hotel I seen how it had many excellent reviews which encouraged me to choose this one. I went back to the lobby front desk to let them know the condition of the room and offered to even show pictures to the manager working that evening and her response was you don't have to show me, I believe it. They offered to move me to an executive room and I asked to take a look at it with her before I agree to anything. When we arrived to that room the carpet was wet as well and I didn't even bother to look further I just wanted to leave and find somewhere else to stay.

I pre-paid for a room here in advance but unfortunately found out later that a hurricane was scheduled to arrive in that part of Florida during my stay. My flight was cancelled to Florida and I tried to get my pre-paid money back from the hotel but they declined so I lost money (even though there was a state of emergency and severe travel advisory noted for that time). Not good customer service. I will be booking elsewhere when I return to Orlando.

Red Lion Hotel Kissimmee
The hotel was very clean. Our room was spacious. The only thing i was missing was an in room coffee pot. We did not eat at the hotel as there were so many options close by. The lazy river was small but did the job. It was a very relaxing weekend for us. I plan to go back here again.
