A comfortable room, very clean, and the bathroom was cleaned after the first night's stay which many hotels no longer bother doing. I'd come here again.

Hotel was ok, convenient location and average stay. Issues with hot water not working and loud humming noises inside of the room which could only be solved by removing the key.

Fantastic hotel for the one night we were staying

Staff who greeted us were brilliant, they put us in a high floor right next to the lift as I walk with a crutch. I did as K for a low floor but the girl said it was very noisy on the low floors as work was going on outside so they gave us a quiet floor and right next to the lift. Very clean and tidy bedroom

Ok for a cheap stay but not a great option in my opinion. Staff on reception were quite rude when I didn’t have a physical bank card for their ‘checks’ even though I had pre-paid the hotel. Unfortunately, I use Apple Pay for everything and no longer carry a physical card. I managed to appease them in the end by showing them the card in my Barclays app. The room was extremely basic and the shower/toilet setup is pretty awful.

Hotel was easy to get to, literally right around the corner from the train station and 24-hour car park. Generally pretty clean and modern overall too. I stayed in a family room with my partner and child. Hairs found in bathroom and I’m not sure if the steps for the bunkbeds had just been painted, but the red colour stained the clothes of my child, and subsequently stained the hotel towels too. We let reception know about this and had to dispose of some my child’s clothing items. I was also disappointed to receive a ‘noise complaint’ via reception from the floor below, claiming we were ‘running around’ in the room. We hadn’t checked in until around 9.30-10pm, and given the timing I think it’s to be expected that a family of three will be walking around the room while we un-pack and arrange ourselves for the stay. Would have been nice for the hotel to show some understanding in this scenario. I know better than to let my child run around at 10pm at night, and the phone call did actually interrupt the, albeit late, bedtime process.

Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. Kettle & fresh cups provided each day. Clean room and comfy bed. Extra blankets provided when asked for. Close to the central train station. Quiet rooms.

Great location but poor room

The bed was very uncomfortable as the mattress was very hard round the edges In the morning there was no hot water to have a shower. Reception said you have to run it for a while, I did that for at least 3 min and it was not heating up
