The hotel staff was excellent. They went above and beyond, housekeeping, concierge and desk staff were all wonderful made our 9 day stay great. The building, however, the AC and hallway carpets were old and dated. E.g., the AC was blowing 24/7 just to keep the room at a mere 69 degrees. We had an ocean view room and didn't open the balcony door much but still felt humidity in the room. Also, the balcony door didn't close securely; a few nights we had 25mph winds and we heard a loud whistling sound thru the gaps those nights. Also the bathroom did not have a vent or fan which added to humidity in the room. The hotel has convenient parking, with a limited number of spaces mostly for compact cars. I (reserve one before you arrive). I would give a 5-star rating had the rooms been a bit more updated. Otherwise, we had a great stay at a reasonable price and would return again.

The entire hotel was without hot water and the management/front desk staff did not take accountability, try to assist or resolve the issue. The housekeeping staff was the best, they communicated as much as possible and was very apologetic. Overall, I would not stay here again because of the front desk and management staff.

This is the 4th place we’ve stayed in Miami Beach and it’s the best so far! The Best Western Plus checks enough of our boxes that we will be going back. The concierge was super nice, they kept our bags when we arrived early off a cruise. They called us when the room was ready and he put our luggage in our room while we were out shopping. There’s a CVS across the street, restaurant in the hotel (which is sooo convenient)!! Pool and beach access were nice, cornhole boards out back. The only thing that would’ve made it better would have been queen beds instead of full size.

safe didnt work. no reply from service desk. when I went to desk had to wait 20 minutes. Guy said he was only guy on duty and couldnt cope with answering phone and had a lot of customers at reception to deal with. When guy came to fix safe he said digits 1 , 2 and 9 were not working. I used a code excluding these. But had to hit each number several times to register. This kind of service is ok if you are paying $150 dollars a night. I was paying $375 a night. The staff were very nice so problems lay with management. The Management run a cheap show and overall it was the worst experience I have had in a long time. I know Best Western are a budget Hotel chain but this was a rip off. Individual staff were very good but their hands are tied when they are under the management of cheap skate executives trying to save a dollar. A bad experience overall.

The hotel wall clean and had comfy beds! We looked out to the ocean and boardwalk- beautiful. There is some construction next door and the rooms are a bit dated but we loved it! Also the restaurant was great!

My ocean view room did not have hot water, I was moved to a partial view room. The manager said both rooms are the same price and I would not get a refund. Even though I clear had different rooms and view. She yelled on the phone and told me I know anything and transferred me yelling” you won’t get nothing” so I’m the future I won’t be back and when you book verify you what kind of room you are getting.
