Feel Very lucky to book with you, super friendly team … the girls at the reception are the friendliest ever people… went beyond their job … Becca guided me to their car park over the phone step by step … honestly meeting the team, made my day … the room was fabulous location is great breakfast was awesome thanks to the chef … can’t recommend the place enough win win case

Nice Hotel

Nice hotel close to lots of bars and restaurants. Being Timothy Taylor owned you get a great range of ales at the bar. Superb breakfast.

If given Room 15/Garden Room… Beware!

If given Room 15/Garden Room be prepared not to get any sleep. The price for the booking was not cheap and when checked in the guy made a passing comment that there may be slight noise in the morning as it’s below the Kitchen. We made our booking in February so not a last minute booking and was allocated this room. Unfortunately the noises started from the very start and resembled a herd of elephants running from one side of the room to the other, this continued until 11pm when we went upstairs and asked how long this would continue? The lady asked the man to stop dropping the mop bucket on the floor… It stopped for a small period and then started again until 10 past one in the morning. Unfortunately for us it did start again at 6am, so no we did not get any sleep. Before we checked out we overheard the staff having a conversation about us asking when it would stop and one said “what did they expect, it’s a bleep operating kitchen”. When checking out, we made the guy aware of our disappointment and he was apologetic. He mentioned this room now comes with a warning of how loud this room is, not sure why we didn’t get this? We did receive a discounted rate which was appreciated but didn’t make up for the spoiled trip.
