Room was clean but could do with a refurbishment.Dining room was pleasant and staff helpful. Food at breakfast was well cooked lots of choices. Could do with more than one lift. Bed cover and quilt were in poor condition, holes in them.

The property is a bit dated but is in a great location. The TV in our room didn't work although that wasn't an issue. the shower stopped working mid shower on our departure morning but the hotel is pretty old so these things will happen. I would stay here again purely for the location and despite maintenance issues has a nice vibe.

The stay was great, we where unable to get in the restaurant of the evening meal(Friday Night) but visit a great Italian 5 minutes walk away "Divino"

Good period Hotel just away from the centre
Good Hotel in quiet location just out of the centre. Easy walking tt everything in the centre of Harrogate. Very good breakfast with options either from the buffet or menu if other items.

Classic hotel in Harrogate
It's old fashioned, playing on the Agatha Christie link, but non the less very comfortable and clean. Lovely bathroom, if a little tight but big bath and fantastic shower. Only slight disappointment was that staff at breakfast were busy cleaning and i had to grab 2 to get a coffee. The first acknowledged my request but brought nothing. The second did bring it. Breakfast was otherwise very good.

It was very pretty and a good size room. Was disappointed that I wasn’t advised that booking for dinner was required when I booked as when we arrived could only eat in the bar and the menus there was uninspiring
