Not obvious when we booked that the Victorian Spa was not included-thanks to staff for managing to get us in at relatively short notice but the time was not ideal so book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Hotel is huge with multiple places to eat and drink, but again, book in advance to get the venue and time you want as it does get very busy.
Room had a lovely view, but was a little tired and for a “feature room” it was a little bit disappointing.
In fact, a lot of things were just a little bit below par; fruit at breakfast was in syrup not fresh, not all areas have a lift so we had to carry bags up steps and down a long corridor, I had to move furniture in the room to access wall sockets, the kettle was hidden in a drawer.
But, the Victorian Baths were amazing, the food in The Terrace/Piccolo was fantastic, and the staff were fabulous
Overall, good but not great
