Unfortunately our room was affected by water pressure problems, this meant on the morning of departure I was stuck in the shower for 10 minutes covered in soap with no water supply as it cut out half way through. When it eventually returned it was cold. I contacted the hotel afterwards and they said this was because of water use in the street and it was out of their control...just keep this in mind therefore before booking. Overall we found our stay poor value for money.
The room was spotless and get full English breakfast and only problem is wasn't enough parking space

Smelly reception (lingering/ancient deep fried food smell); no free parking availble altough guaranteed on our booking (restricted availability was listed in the 'small prints' notes on booking.com but not on the hotel.com site that we used - we had to pay 10 £ for one night in a nearby parking space) and reverberating (not so good) live music from a loudy private party playing until at least 23:00 (not terribly late but we were tired). I'm glad ours was a deluxe double room (if it was) - I do not think we would have fit into a regular one. Scant amenities. One towel per person: I realize this is an English touristy hotels feature, but inconvenient. We were kindly given ONE extra towel upon request. Sad continental buffet breakfast, but eggs very well done to order (we weren't very hungry, so we didn't go for traditional breakfast).
The hotel was ok and the staff did their best to be helpful but our room was so hot and the windows didn’t open (which was known about by staff and hadn’t been fixed). The shower was a trickle of water and it was just disappointing for the cost of the room. I could have paid half the price for a premier inn which would have been better with air con and breakfast included.
I was kept awake by some very explicit noises coming from the bedroom next door, it went on for hours!! I was concerned about what sort of hotel I was in??
Place is shabby, towels didn't seem clean

Central small hotel
Stayed there before be a use it is good value for money and comfortable. We had a different room which was on the top floor and spacious. But we found the shower challenging in that it stayed cold for a long time and then turned to hot and back again, not ideal. I also struggled with the lock to the door and had to be rescued from outside. Breakfast is very good.
We checked in around 19;30 and checked out the following morning before 8:30 and only used our ground floor room to sleep in. It was warm, clean and comfortable. We only met 1 member of staff who was helpful and friendly. We didn't make use of any of the facilities and had a room only option. Although the Hotel car park was full, we found a large car park nearby and then moved to street parking outside. The location was close to plenty of restaurants, etc. and it served our purpose well.
A good medium size hotel with good room and shower.
Breakfast very good and location is in town so a lot of places to eat and only 5 minutes walk.
The staff were 100% and looked after us while we were there even though we was working and not holiday.
I recommend this place to stay and a very good price.
We had a 2 night birthday break at this excellent value for money hotel. Clean, friendly, quiet,a few minutes walk to town centre and a breakfast that will keep you going all day.
Lovely and friendly hotel, so close to the centre of town, so very well located. Our only complaints were that the bed wasn't the comfiest and the shower's thermostat had obviously gone so the shower was either so hot you couldn't stand under or freezing. Aside from that can't complain for the price.

Dont stay in Room 1.
Location great for shops and beach. Beds comfy, shower good, tea and coffee making facilities provided.
My only problem is the room I stayed in on the ground floor. Kept awake by people in the lounge using very colourful language (they did quieten down when asked)
A toilet opposite room meant lots of banging of doors.
Woken up early by people clattering around in the kitchen (which was next to the room) preparing breakfast.
Another relative stayed in a room on 1st floor and had no issues.
A very nice stay. The room was clean and tidy and perfect for a weekend stay. The service was excellent and all the staff were extremely polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Hotel close to beach,12 min walk to beach, same di
Hotel clean & good location , require more parking spaces, rooms very hot when it's hot day, require fans / air con.
Big breakfast, needed to request to reduce amount of items next day. Need to reduce price for value for money, we paid £78 per night
I regularly stay in Bournemouth and I've never had a bad night or room in this place. Friendly stay, nice family feel. Walking distance from resturanta and bars. Regularly stay here.
