On a busy road but room was quiet. Air cooler not air conditioning. Unfortunately my air cooler leaked water which woke me up. Safe friendly & apologetic over leak & tried to fix it but same thing happened again. About a 15 minute walk to town centre & 20 minute walk to train station. Breakfast was good with lots on offer to eat.

Good stay but overpriced parking

Classic HIE, but really overpriced (£15 for night) parking even it is not so close to the historic centre... In Portsmouth Pembroke road we pay £5, in Cambridge it was free...

The welcome sign in was excellent. The desk reception was very helpful in telling us how to get places and also informing us about the hotel. The room was small but perfectly fine. The breakfast was amazing with many options for guests. Parking was easy and right outside of the hotel. The location was easily walkable to downtown Bath. We would stay there again.

Disapointed with the accomodation

Service and staff were very good, however the parking facility was poor and expensive. We had to leave var in place asthere was no guarantee if there would be a place available if you decided to use the car for the day! The breakfast options were very limited and the cooked breakfast was cold. The room was also too warm even with the air con switched on. The money we've paid for accommodation was too dear for the available facilities.

Highly recommended

Fantastic from the start. Very friendly and helpful staff, spacious and very clean room, excellent food. I would definitely be going back. Very short walk into the town.

The front desk staff was great! Super nice and friendly! Breakfast as alright but not great at all. However, the housekeeping staff did not do the rooms well at all. Left pillows on the floor, just threw the covers over the bed but did not take time to make a proper bed. The rooms and bathroom were tiny. Very tight and hard to move around with our luggage.

Both rooms had air con that leaked condensation - over anything that had unfortunately been left unknowingly underneath.

One night stay

I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. It is modern and well equipped and includes a good lift. The two downsides are the lack of a restaurant for an evening meal and the cost of parking
