Slamming doors made sleep impossible

Better soundproofing is required. A Coach full of elderly women that left very early slamming doors which was so loud. I was woken out of a deep sleep at 06:30am and could not sleep after that. For a new 4* hotel soft close doors and sound proofing are ESSENTIAL so as not to disturb other guests. I am not a light sleeper so was looking forward to a nice lie in instead of being woken up by noisy guests which ruined my stay. All guests in that coach group should have been put on one floor together as they were having breakfast / leaving at the same time.

Loved the bathrobes and slippers. Bathroom a bit tight and not enough hanging space for towels. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Staff helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast

Great hotel in great location. We had a really good and enjoyable stay at The Apex Hotel. The room and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good and we had a good time in the pool as well.

We had a fantastic one-night stay at the Apex City of Bath Hotel. The staff were super friendly, and when we asked about an upgrade, they kindly gave us a room with a balcony, which was a lovely surprise. They were also really helpful in giving us directions around town and even checked in with us via WhatsApp to make sure everything was going smoothly. There's no on-site parking, but they pointed us to a convenient nearby lot, so it wasn't an issue. We didn't try the breakfast, but they offer both a full buffet for £16.90, or à la carte options. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore Bath. Our room was lovely, with a comfy bed and a cozy comforter--we especially appreciated getting an extra blanket right away (I love the weight). There were tea, coffee, and milk in the room, and we got slippers upon request (even though I realized afterwards, slippers were in the room, in the pocket of the robe). Overall, a really comfortable and enjoyable stay!

A great location to walk everywhere in central bath. Lovely room with very comfortable beds. Pool area like a spa and looked fabulous but the water was too cold for spa requirements. That was the only thing that was not perfect.

Very enjoyable stay!

Fantastic stay at The Apex Hotel - Bath! The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and had great facilities, including very spacious rooms, lovely spa facility with sauna, steam room, pool and heated loungers, plus a bar open until late. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant so cannot comment on the food. The room was very spacious with a big bed. We found the bed a little too hard and the pillows too soft but this is just personal preference. The room facilities were great with an ironing board, iron, hairdryer, safe, big TV (which is rare for a hotel) with freeview channels, coffee machine with complimentary tea, coffee, snacks and water. Towels were changed daily which could be reviewed for sustainability, perhaps there could be an option card displayed on the door for guests to advise whether they would like the towels changed. The steam room was out of order in the spa however a very minor point that did not affect our experience or enjoyment. The location was great for visiting the city centre. Only a few minutes’ walk to the Thermae Bath Spa, Roman Baths and the shops, bars and restaurants. Around a 10 minute walk to Bath Spa station. Overall a very enjoyable stay! Highly recommended.
