Good things- location is brilliant and breakfast is good (slow service last day and no milk near tea making station/no sour bread with breakfast even though i was asked if i wanted white/brown soughdough bread.) Bad bits- Arrived at the hotel- wasnt a warm welcome and was put in a basement room, (superior double), got into the room and was disappointed, stains on the quilt, no water in the room, which with a superior room, i would expect, 2 milk sachet of milk, shower leaked and bathroom door was damaged by damp etc. Next day went out to return to one can of water between 2 people A) why we didnt get water in the room on arrival?and B) why only one 330ml can of water? And an abandonded vape on the side (neither me or my husband vape.) On the whole it was just OK, but paid over £500 for 3 nights I was expecting a little bit more and was left disappointed.

The last room was very small and hot air conditioning does not work and if i opened the window the hotel restaurant staff could see in the bed is actually 2 twins stuck together causing difficulty to sleep very misleading giving double rooms with twin beds . Check out was poor a que of people waiting with only 1 member of staff on reception very poor for a 4 star hotel although this was a issue for me i left my key in the bar as had to leave fast never been so excited about leaving a hotel before they need to improve their beds and some rooms too but the 1 thing is the staff are exceptional and try their best to help but the beds were a real issue for me all the bathrooms are suoerb and exceptional too only resl issues were the beds and sizes of rooms . 5/10
