A lovely place to stay and very central. Friendly staff and a convenient location. Lovely cooked breakfast. The shower was a bit dated and there were no radiators but there was an electrical radiator. The room itself was of good quality. Would definately stay here again.

It was good except the hot water to the bath/shower tap was uncontrollable in respect of temperature. The thermostatic valve was not functioning giving far too much hot water which was burning hot.

Conveniently located just 50m from Reading Rail Station, for our unplanned enforced overnight stay after train disruption. Rooms pleasant (if a bit dark).

Had a very lovely overnight stay at Malmaison. The staff were all great. Nice guy on reception. Exceptionally good bartender, who made wonderful cocktails. Waitress at breakfast was great. Overall a great experience. Great food and a perfect night stay. Reading gets more and more salubrious, but you just ignore that!

Great stay, great location, great service

fantastic stay and location to train station, main street town of Reading and restaurants. the staff were great and helpful in every way. rooms clean and lovely.
