Both beaches are more exposed and well suited for experienced surfers. Fistral has great facilities including several cafes and a Rick Steins restaurant!

Getting Around:
Due to the remote nature of Cornwall, a vehicle is recommended for getting the most out of your time here. Private allocated parking is available for one car in a numbered bay in the key-code protected gated area to the rear of the property. Please never park in a bay allocated to one of the other properties. There are also 3 unnumbered visitor parking bays in the carpark which you are welcome to use for a second car if a space is available. However please limit the use of a visitor space to 24 hours at a time to allow all residents the use of the spaces, on a first come, first serve basis. Please do not park more than 2 cars in total in the private car park as this will create problems for the other residents who use the car park. Parking in the surrounding streets is free and unrestricted, and there are also paid car parks nearby.
However, if you do not have a vehicle Newquay is one of the best towns in Cornwall to visit. Trains operated by Great Western Railway run into the centre of town all the way from London Paddington. The station is then only an 8 minute walk from the property. Newquay also has an international airport. So if you are travelling by air you can either rent a car or take a taxi from the airport. From here it is only a 15 minute drive to the house.
Other Things to Note:
Guests with mobility issues should be aware the property is split over five floors. The property is accessed from the ground floor where the entrance hall and games area are located. It is then two flight of stairs to the main kitchen, dining and living area.
Please note: Some booking sites do not display the exact location until after booking. The house is actually on Island Crescent, which is the first street from the cliffs edge.
