They didn’t provide a daily cleaning service. Bed not made and complimentary drinks not restocked. We had no heating or air conditioning which was not repaired. Limited channels on TV. Shortage of staff to clear tables for breakfast which meant we had to clear a table on 2 mornings. Much of the food was gone even though there was still a further hour to go for the end of serving breakfast. We would have been better off going to a Travel lodge at half the price.

Room 109 Hole in carpet! Mould under sink! Lighting dull! Carpet through room is not fitted and causes trip hazards! Overall never again will I book this hotel. Unless they make some big updates. The hotel rooms are like slums

I asked if an accessible room was available and told them that I had emailed. I was told one would be available when we returned from the show. When we returned I enquired about this and was told none were available. Later though I received a phone call and they did manage to swap us which was great

The little self serve shop in reception was very over priced, there is a coop a 2 minute walk away that is a lot better. The gym was extremely busy at times and it wasn’t worth even trying to swim due to the amount of people using the facilities. The tv stopped working but staff quickly fixed this. There was a strange smell in the hallway but room was ok

A mixed bag. Pleasant and attentive staff, fairly good breakfast spread, lovely pool but grubby dated room with a very knackered mattress that dipped alarmingly in the middle. An easy walk to the city centre but the immediate surroundings of the hotel are run down and ugly.

Sides hadn’t been cleaned, cups and glasses were all dirty- looked like only rinsed under a tap. Had grime on inside. Hair over bathroom side. Normally don’t have an issue with the hotel but wasn’t up to usual standard
