The Hotel has a wonderful location, but its a crumbling old relic that needs a huge overhaul to restore it to its former glory.

Position. I remember staying in this hotel 'for work' about 25 years ago and it stuck in my mind. As others have mentioned it is slightly 'tired', but perhaps this adds to its character. I would stay again.

Fantastic location and views, still has some character and varied clientele. Felt some things had been levered in: going through the dining room to get to the spa and some bits were looking a bit tired. But could be a fabulous hotel, prefer over others in the area and would definitely go back.

Disappointed with our small room - booked a balcony harbour room the best room which was left on website, which we had stayed in before which was large and comfy previously so was confident this would be good! This time it was tiny and made it difficult for me and my v tall partner to move about in, could barely get in the bathroom which had cupboard doors! Cold pool in spa area, no jacuzzi working, closed outdoor pool. OH enjoyed the sauna which I couldn’t use as am pregnant. Breakfast a bit shambolic. V v busy and seemed staff couldn’t cope. Waiter took our order of eggs which he seemed to not want to do as was worried we would be forgotten as seemed to be no one taking coffee or egg orders, and anyway the eggs never appeared. Asked 20 or so mins later and it seems the ‘order’ had gone missing ? Overall disappointing compared to our first stay however clean and tidy and excellent location which is the reason we stayed. Probably the last time for us am afraid.

Excellent position with wonderful views and right on one of best beaches in the UK. The hotel needs a little bit of tlc but the new owners have put some money into this. The food is excellent and the breakfast is included and very well presented. The staff were not particularly welcoming, which was a shame. The bar staff were slow and needed help due to being understaffed. This led to a queue building up and a long wait to be served drinks and bar food. This wa

Pros: The swimming pool area was really relaxing and calming
Cons: There was a wedding which I know they had there but it felt like my room was in the function, we was on the 1 st floor but it was quieter on the balcony then in the room
Location: Lovely location and great facilities
