The location is fantastic. The site and surrounding areas were cool to explore if you are into the history of Sheffield! Worked nights so didn't get to see as much as I would have liked. The hotel is worth a stay even if you aren't going anywhere! Very clean, very helpful and very friendly

Perfect location for our needs - very friendly staff who booked taxi to a hospital, early morning call was bang on time. Room was very clean with all the facilities we needed for a very short stay, TV, tea, coffee making facilities.Comfy double bed too. We just needed to know how to regulate the heating. It was very warm but welcome in the morning when we woke to snow on the ground. Would definitely recommend and return

Very convenient, neat and tidy hotel within the outskirts of Sheffield city centre, in the Hillsborough area. Friendly, helpful staff with good rooms. Good food. Nice breakfast.

Close to facilities

Comfortable room with all facilities, staff all very polite and accommodating. Stayed for 2 nights to visit my son who lives in the area. Second time I have stayed and will definitely stay again.

Nice stat except for creaking floor boards

Staff are lovely, room lovely and warm but the floor boards creak very annoying when you get up in the night. Plenty of parking but you have to go through bar and steep steps to get to reception there is a car park by reception if you see it as you go up the hill. The car park by reception is small and vans park in disabled bays. Morrisons 2 minute walk away, with petrol station. Did not eat here but had drink in bar and prices not silly money like in some hotels. Yes we would recommend staying here as it is handy for Northern general hospital. 10 minute drive away.
