Great for leisure

Room was cold and only a single radiator so not perfect. Leisure here is worth the price on its own, Great steam rooms, sauna, pool and infinity pool. Breakfast very poor. Had to wait 30 minutes for something obviously kept warm in the oven in the kitchen - may as well be a buffet, at least i could have seen it was poor and overcooked and just had cereal and toast and got on my way

My best trip to the area so far.

Loved the pool and thermal suite. I've stayed at 4 hotels in the area and this was the best. Restaurant steal was amazing. Most meals seemed to come with coleslaw rather than any meaningful fibre and nutrition. I ate at the bar the pub the restaurant and found the same in each. Pool opens at 6:30 which isn't quite early enough for my taste. Especially when they were 5 minutes late opening the door and I had to ask at reception.

We had a lovely stay and overall its very good. Only few minor grumbles, one staff member at breakfast quite rude. Some mould on curtains in restaurant.

Nice spa, large bed, lovely well kept grounds. There was a large group of women in the spa who were very noisy. Also came back to their room after midnight and were shouting. Someone in another room came out and told them to be quiet. Electrics werent working in the room when we arrived but were quickly fixed.

Stayed here for one night with my 1 year old.although they forgot to put a cot in, when I asked they were extremely quick to follow up on this and being a cot a d get it set up. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Clean and spacious rooms. Mainly comfy although no air con in the room and it was roasting so had a rough night. The surrounding area is great, the food I. The restaurant is brilliant. All in all a very comfortable stay and would definitely look at staying here again if visiting Manchester.
