The hotel is located in a beautiful area and has a great view. However I believe it to be overpriced for the amenities offered and quality of the hotel. Somewhat run down, a little dirty and minimal facilities. Breakfast was tiny and had minimal options however was tasty from what I had. The staff were pleasant, kind and friendly.

Surprised

Driven past this hotel for years and from the outside looks a little shabby, past its prime I’d guess. But great value, room was fair size for a single. First time I’ve seen a single bed in the middle of the room. Thought I was definitely going to fall out during the night. But successfully didn’t. Staff are top notch and food was excellent. Definitely would stay again

went to room debris under radiator, shelf in bathroom fell off as tried to put toiletries on it, water in kettle, no ventilation in bathroom window also unopenable.shower waste really slow filled up tray had to turn off shower and wait till water drained to resume shower.waste black full of dirt looks like never been cleaned shower door runner filthy.room very dull lighting poor.2 out of 4 days room not serviced.breakfast availability poor kept running out of food etc.... run out of orange juice 2 days had to ask for urn to be refilled.felt sorry for staff who were pretty good but whole place in disrepair. sorry but wont be returning

Lovely hotel ,staff very friendly and helpful, check in very easy and quick ,room clean ,comfortable bed ,breakfast was good ,hotel near pier and walking distance to shops ,beach and restaurantsand Lovely stay

Reasonable for a one night stay

Budget accomodation room was basic but ok for a one night. A clean carpet and walls would have made this much better. Great for sea view outside

Would of given it full stars but the only thing to described negative would be the small blotches of blood stains on the bathroom tile which I wasn't too keen on, And carpet has its own menu in stains.

bar staff was very friendly food tasty however rooms are very dated and dark ,windows mouldy and felt a bit chilly but it would not put me off going back there because i did have a nice time plenty of shops and cafes about very frienldly people

Great Stay

We had a small problem with the room when we arrived but the front desk took care of it immediately. The service is great. The breakfast the next day was very good. Staff were very pleasant and courteous. As some people have commented the place is tired looking but as the hotel has fully explained they are renovating. 197 rooms do not update themselves overnight so give them a chance. Room was a great price and I cannot fault it.

We stayed for two nights at the Burlington Hotel Eastbourne.the staff were very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable we will be booking again soon
