This was my third stay in the last month here. This is an old hotel and a bit tired in places. However, I keep returning because it is great value and the staff are very friendly. When I arrived this time, Sarah on reception offered me a room upgrade as the hotel was quiet - a lovely gesture and much appreciated. I’ll certainly be returning!

I had a room at the back and extended my stay several times which was accommodated without a hitch. I would have liked more visits from housekeeping without having to request them as over a week the bin overflowed and I ran out of Tea/ Coffee. The breakfast was excellent.

I had a problem with the shower and spoke to the Reception Team - as it couldn’t be fixed they quickly offered me a larger room for the inconvenience caused. Things sometimes go wrong which I understand - it is how they are resolved which matters and I thought the team were excellent in sorting the matter out.

Hotel was in poor condition. Our window had a gap so it was cold and windy. Construction outside ruined the view and woke us up. Overall not great, our other groups bathroom was mouldy

Very friendly reception. Bar prices are reasonable. Spotlessly clean. Would be great to have king size beds in the superior sea view rooms. Only thing that could be improved is the breakfast especially considering the £12.50 price tag. Stayed many times and will continue to do so

Staff are exceptional. When I arrived the desk girl gave us a free upgrade to a sea view room. The hotel is dated for sure but the breakfast buffet was decent and the staff very helpful giving us gluten free toast and sausage. Overall don’t go expecting a posh hotel but for value for money and a short stay it was ideal. Bed was also nice and comfy and a clean slightly dated room was nice size and you had a proper coffee pod machine in the room not instant. Very happy with our satay and a big thank you to the staff who treated us so well.

I did not stay in this hotel, I checked in but had to check out 15 min later because the room was unbearable. It had a strong unpleasant odour and me and my husband could not tolerate it. The room was dirty, the fan was full of dust, the carpet was blackened that I couldn’t see the pattern underneath the dirt, it looked old and neglected. The hotel is in serious need of refurbishment, it is not fit for human habitation. I felt insulted that my hard earned money was spent on a place in such poor condition which bears no resemblance to the advertised images. The only positive aspect was the receptionist, who was very friendly and accommodating. Otherwise, I DO NOT recommend this hotel.
