Very noisy. They have construction going on nearby so be prepared for it. Especially hotels.com guests - they will place you in rooms with windows right above the construction.

Nice hotel. Great location. Poor service.
Checked in at 416pm. Desk was organized but room was not ready. Management would not ask housekeeping to leave the room so we simply change for dinner. My wife checked out and the desk charged me for my stay (again). I had prepaid before arrival confirmed at check in. Still waiting for a fix on this second issue.

I’ve been wanting to stay here since it was converted from the old shuttered prison. Everything about the place and staff was top notch. I’m extremely disappointed they did not disclose up front that there was construction just below my room and that Mass General with ambulances with sirens blazing all night. Stay in an upper room and city facing and it will be an amazing experience.
