Room was not ready until slightly after 4:00. Painting the lobby....ladders/dropclothes everywhere in the lobby. Elevators did not work and had to walk through the restaurant to get in. I understand the need to re-paint the lobby, but there were too many nuisances to say it was a relaxing stay. Review of my bill for a 13 hour stay showed am additional 25% surcharge for parking and taxes. It never stops in Taxachussets!

I don’t feel like the price should be what it was with the construction that is currently going on. Entry and exit was annoying enough that I chose not to bother a few times. It was also not very clean with all the debris scattered about and the construction workers blocking the hallways constantly. It also was annoying to have to ask for synthetic pillows upon arrival having requested them when I booked.

The staff was wonderful. They were very accommodating and very friendly. The rooms were nice and clean with comfortable beds. I gave it a three star only because of the renovations in lobby/entrance . It was not very nice to walk into but once you went up to the second level it was very nice. I am sure it will look great when done. I was not aware of the renovations so it was abit of a surprise
