Should be called the Big Blue Zoo. Walls are paper thin I requested quiet rooms at time of booking and the two rooms I was booking to be beside each other. Instead Our rooms were far apart both on the bottom floor each room experienced thudding at night and early in the morning from above kids constantly running around. When we called Management we were told the child above was heavy footed so we didn't bother complaining again. Children were running up and down corridors screaming very loud parents with no respect screaming and knocking their friends doors and the room next door was blasting music while all sitting I presume drinking with friends. This hotel felt like being in a very scary council estate avoid!

Having to wait to be checked in

Its a lovely hotel But only one person on reception And had to wait about 12 minutes to check in That was very disappointing But otherwise its a very good hotel

Another fab stay

Not our first stay at The Big Blue and won’t be our last. We had 2 double rooms and both were upgraded to deluxe at check in. The staff work really hard and are very friendly. Breakfast is amazing!

Loved this hotel, room was clean and well decorated. Staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. we made use of the new free admission into the theme park after 4pm which was a great perk! Bed was very comfortable. Some negatives were parking was £20 a night which was expensive and room was located near lifts which was fairly noisy late evening. Will definitely stay here again next year!

Big thumbs up for the Big Blue

We recently stayed at the Big Blue Hotel in Blackpool as part of our family road trip for our YouTube channel ThemeParkTeddy, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazing – welcoming, professional, and really went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. A special thank you to Owen, a member of staff in the restaurant, who looked after us when our food order didn’t reach the kitchen due to a mix-up. He spotted the issue right away and made sure it was sorted quickly and with a smile – top-notch service! The location is ideal, especially if you're heading to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Our room had an incredible theme park view, which our child loved – waking up to the sight of the rides was a real treat. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it felt like the perfect base for our Blackpool adventure. Everything was well-maintained and family-friendly. What an amazing stay . Rooms always clean and cleaned everyday . Special thanks to Lucia holly shannon miren Dave and John. Made the experience soo much better and their service level is impeccable. Had such a good time I will be booking again very soon . Thanks big blue :)
